Si vous avez une installation de tension secteur (120 ou 240 V), veuillez nous contacter au 1 (800) 468-1502 du lundi au dimanche de 8 h à 22 h, heure de référence CST et dans le cas de référence 02028649. Nous serons heureux de vous recommander un thermostat compatible. Nous devons savoir quelle est la tension, la puissance et l’ampérage de votre système.

Does this thermostat have Emergency heat button

How do I change F•  to Celsius on my thermostat ? Thanks

Hi Dodoaline! To change the temperature display follow the next steps: Press and hold both up and down arrows at the same time, until the display changes. Press up and down arrows until number function 14 shows on the display, next to this a number 1 will show. Change the 1 to 0 by pressing the down arrow. Press and release the run button to save the changes. -John

It is compatible with heat pump and gas furnaces?

This thermostat is compatible with 24V applications.Works on Gas, oil or electric furnace, central air conditioner, hot water system with or without pump and heat pump without auxiliary heat. On new installations we recommend to label the wires depending on the terminals they were connected before, we don't use color code. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Basic unit [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The install was easy and straight forward. Just match up the colors per the enclosed chart. You will need a very small straight blade screwdriver. Think eyeglass repair. This unit is smaller than the old one. If that is your situation there may be some touch up painting and hole patching to do. Although it is programmable the functions are somewhat limited. I have not tried to program it. Fortunately for me there is a “hold” button. That will be the most used control in this house. The construction is decent except the heat - off- air switch has a flimsy feel to it. If your looking for an inexpensive basic thermostat, this may fit your needs.

I have had this model in the lower level of my house for many years, and recently had to replace the upstairs thermostat. The upstairs unit was not as easy to use as this one, so we chose this for both levels of the house. The downstairs unit has been reliable for 8+ years. I like the weekday/weekend settings. Being able to adjust the temperature for nighttime allows us to have the bedrooms cool down just as we get into bed and then begin to warm up just as we are waking - a cool temperature for sleeping but warming up by the time your feet hit the floor!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to install, easy to set I bought this to replace an old thermostat that did not work any longer. It came with the screws to mount it along with the anchors for drywall. The wire connectors are of the type that you just stick the end of the wires straight into it and tighten the screws. Everything was marked and easy to understand. The instructions were a bit vague in areas, but still an easy installation. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is that it requires 2 AAA batteries that are not included.

Living in a warm climate, being able to cool the house down at night without over-cooling it during the day is important. This unit allows you to break down the day into enough segments to make that work.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great Price For A Headache [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My home thermostat went out today. I purchased the Honeywell RTH2300B as a replacement. I had to exchange the first one I purchased due to being defective straight from the box and not working at all. I just got home with the replacement for my replacement and installed it and the illuminated screen has blotchy corners on it. Once again, another defective/damaged thermostat straight from the box. If you are on the market for a new thermostat, just spend a few extra dollars and buy a nicer one. I was disappointed to read the terrible reviews on this unit after I had purchased it but now I understand why it has those reviews.

(Our furnace is about 35 years old and we plan to replace it soon so we didn't want to spend $$$ on a thermostat.) My husband installed it in less than an hour. Just like the old one it's easy to program. Very happy with our purchase.

For heat only or with A/C as well and you can just run the furnace fan. Has a work week program and a separate weekend program. Also has a hold temperature function. Just a good basic thermostat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It’s ok This is a Honeywell product which, due to past experience, is a good product. However, for me, not this one. The programming steps are not difficult but hard to access. Specifically, the different days of the week. You can’t access one day in particular without having to scroll through them all. So, I purchased the RTH6000B which eliminated this issue...again, for me. Others may not have a problem with this. Other than that it’s still a Honeywell and that’s a good thing. Temperature “swing” is +\- 1 degree which is a definite plus!
