Réno-Dépôt will guide you throughout your project. You will work with a store associate to select wall tiles that best suit your kitchen style and needs. If you decide to move on with the project, we will take measurements for your new backsplash. An independent contractor will come to your home for a fee to take all the necessary measures to install the wall tiles you have chosen beforehand. If additional services are required, such as the removal of your old backsplash, it will be possible to add them during the appointment. Those fees will be included in your quote.
Subsequently, an associate will contact you again to explain the details of your backsplash quote. Once you approve it and the products and services are paid for, the independent contractor will contact you to reserve an installation date, depending on the availability and arrival of the products. Once the installation is complete, he will make sure to clean the job site and explain the details of your warranty.

Once this meeting is over, a measurement fee will be charged to initiate the installation process and a specialized installer will be sent to your home to determine the work to be done.
Taking measurements
During this step, a local, licensed and insured independent installer will assess your project.
The installation project quote
Once measurements are completed, a store associate will contact you to share the details of the quote for your backsplash project.
Once the project is approved and the payment is done, a local, licensed and insured independent installer will schedule a second appointment to install your new backsplash.
That means:
• If you’re prepping the space yourself, remove the old wall tiles
• Unplug, disconnect and remove all electrical elements
• Clear out counter surfaces and shelving
• Remove any fragile, precious or high-value items from all cabinets
• Remove wall hangings and art along pathways for debris removal
• Permanent surfaces should be protected to avoid potential damage*
The installer will call ahead of time to confirm his estimated time of arrival and review safety steps with you.
All installers are required to pass a daily health screening, they must wear personal protective equipment, and sanitize work area and tools on each job.
Likewise, we require customers to practice social distancing at all times while installers are performing their job.
All installers are background checked, licensed where applicable and insured.
In order to be a part of our Independent Installer program, all contractors must go through the toughest rating test of all – your satisfaction.
