Rated 1 out of 5 by Annoyed from Worked for 4 months, started failing Bought in July, used multiple times daily. Unit makes a little chirp when you put it on the base, and when it starts or stops boiling water. In November, it started not chirping when I put it on the base. It would usually chirp if I rotated the kettle on the base *just right*. And here we are in January. I'm boiling water by hand, because the darn thing has died entirely. I do like the chirp and the lights, but the lifespan leaves much to be desired.
