I'll turn my humidifier on, it will run for maybe 5min then turn off n the light turns red. Anyone know why? I misplaced my manual.

Well, after using my Vicks Warm Mist Humidifier, I slept all night! My congestion wasn't there! I like the little light it puts out, it acts as a nightlight. And, I had expected it to be louder than it actually is so that's a definite plus! I was impressed with how good it worked for me considering the room I put it in is huge. It was easy to fill, it's not to heavy and easy to move! I would recommend it if you are looking for a goodnight sleep free of congestion!

I had a Vicks warm humidifier before and wasn't thrilled with it but this one is awesome. The water tank is easy to remove and carry to the sink for refills. It feels nice and bottom heavy too so it's not likely to tip over or spill once it's operating. The footprint isn't too large hogging up the entire night stand. The steam was just right too. It seems to stay consistent the whole time it's on. I plan on having it on most nights for my son while it's winter time to help with his allergies and dry skin. Plus the sound of it is pretty quiet and soothing.

I humidifier is easy to use and adding the vicks VapoPads or VapoSteam is a two in one. There is an adjustable humidity level indicator which I like to use. Cleaning is a little time consuming but at least it is clean for the next time. The only issue is in the manual where you are able to use an antimicrobial cleaning product that keeps the tank clean for 30 days yet the manual also stated not to add anything to the water tank. The directions are very well written other than that.

We have the worst sleep (snoring, waking up thirsty/dry throat) when the air is dry so I decided to try a humidifier to add moisture to the air. It's totally worked! It feels like ages since we last slept a full night and this has made it possible. I've tried the cool mist before but I absolutely prefer the warm mist. The air is already so cold at night that I don't want any additional coolness. The knob makes it really easy to operate even if I have to do it after I've cut the lights. I am very happy with this.

I really like the size of it I feel like I can go a few days without having to fill it up which is great! I have this in my child’s room and I really like the warm air feature I feel like the cool mist is nice but in a child’s room since they don’t always know to sleep under the blankets the warm mist is a great option :) would highly recommend! Also love that Vick’s makes things you can put in the humidifier when your sick I haven’t had to use that luckily but I like the option for future when my child is ill.

The screw cap is easy to replace when filling and the unit is easy to clean. I have soft water and notice the unit must be cleaned every week if used continuously due to the buildup around the heating unit. I like the compact design. The container for the Vicks relies on evaporation since it does not mix with the water. It does not provide much if any benefit. So I decided to pour the liquid Vicks directly into the water chamber. That works much better and one can smell the Vicks clearly. It really helped me and my children out during the winter months when it was needed the most.

Nothing works better than Vicks Warm Mist Humidifiers. They are super easy to assemble, fill, clean, and use. And I love that this one is filterless! Between you and me, I'm lazy when it comes to filters, I hate cleaning them and always forget to do it. When you have sick kids, you have more important things to do! I love the large compacity tank on this model too, lasts for about a day and a half. And the little cup on the top for the Vicks Inhalant Liquid is awesome! All in all a must have for all sick babies!

I didn't really think it's been enough time to write a review but after breathing closer to the humidifier, I felt like I was back home. I moved from the Mississippi Gulf Coast to northern Colorado last year. I have always lived in a humid climate and I moved somewhere so dry my nose bleeds. This Vicks warm mist humidifier is a lifesaver and I can't recommend it enough. When you first use it, there is a strong smell of plastic. Maybe rinse it with vinegar (cleaning technique listed in manual).
