This versatile 36-inch KitchenAid cooktop is perfect for any and all recipes you might like to try. It features a 10 inch Even-Heat Ultra Power element with simmer setting, a 6-inch element with melt setting, two 6-inch round elements and a 12-inch/9-inch/6-inch triple-ring round Ultra Power element. Rated 4 out of 5 by p75052 from Good product, but lack of support from KitchenAid [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just own it for few days now and while the product seems to works perfectly, the lack of support put it down one star. First the product does not come with a user's manual; and with different features printed by each element, you certainly want to understand. Getting online at KitchenAid site added more frustration, as the manual is not even there. In place is the Internet Connectivity Guide which makes you think the device is an IoT one. Thanks to Lowes, I found the manual, and even in the manual mentions how to connect to internet, Lowes' specs clearly indicates this is not an IoT device.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Paul33071 from Glass top scratches as though it's made of plastic I've had glass cooktops previously but have never experienced a similar issue with other (and cheaper!) brands. In just a matter of 9 months, this cooktop looks like it's about 10 years old! It scratches ridiculously easy and looks terrible once it does. We got it simply to match the brand of our other appliances and while we're happy with the oven/microwave and the refrigerator, this cooktop is a major eyesore. At this point, I would have preferred mismatched brands if it meant that the quality of the glasstop would be better, which it 100% should be based on prior experience with other brands. Cannot recommend this item - go with another manufacturer.

The first one played out after 18 years so we replaced it with a new one. Two years later, we sold the home and our new home had another brand gas cooktop! I thought this would be great as I always wanted a big gas cooktop. Nope, after having it got 5 months, told my hubby, it had to go and now! Knew I would only buy a Kitchenaid as the performance is wonderful and is a beautiful addition to my kitchen. Only drawback; the “eyes” on the cooktop are not as visible as they should be for a “senior citizen “

Saw the reviews about the glass on too and figured, hey it’s supposed to be used and will eventually look used, right? Had for less than a week.. used maybe 4 times.. bubbles are popping up all over the ranges we had used! I just didn’t expect it to happen this fast.. gets hot super fast, cooks things great, was so excited about how beautiful it looked and made our kitchen pop.. now it looks terrible :( in ONE WEEK! Pictures are a CLEAN top.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the KitchenAid, because it was 1 of a very few with 5 elements, with 1 of the elements able to handle a large stockpot and wide dutch oven pan. Those looking for similar features will be pleased. Just note that this cooktop will require a cabinet that fits a 36" top or just under 35" (~34 11/16 cooktop under unit) and 50 amp circuit breaker.

After about 3 weeks of varying uses, we find that all the burners heat up very quickly, and they also cool down quickly (which is not usually talked about, but also very helpful). It looks great and has been easy to clean so far. The knobs function well, though they are also a bit flexible (for durability), which is fine, but different from our previous unit. Everything is providing the KitchenAid quality we expected.

Rated 4 out of 5 by R123 from Replacement cooktop [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop replaced our brand new KitchenAid cooktop that turned itself on and also changed heat settings by itself. The original cooktop did not have knobs which was so nice because it was easy to clean and the "knobless" look was beautiful. The replacement cooktop is easy to use and looks nice, but I would prefer not having to clean around the knobs. I am disappointed that KitchenAid did not provide a fix for the problem for the knobless model.

Finally have a cooktop that will handle my 18" skillet. The heat control is very different from my last cooktop which cooked hot. I have to adjust the control to High if I want to brown anything or bring something to a boil. Its fine just need to get adjusted to it. I can't see where the pot should be placed on the burner until the burner lights up. The markings are so light. Also, this cooktop is hard to clean. I have to degrease the cooktop then rinse it then use a microfiber towel to clear off smudges. There must be an easier way.
