Rated 5 out of 5 by Victoria from Overall Good Purchase Very light weight and easy to install with one screwdriver. So glad I measured my toilet bowl prior to purchase because I did not realize it was a round versus oblong style from looking at it. As a result, this one fits better than previous ones purchased. The material is great for preventing staining and cleans super easy. At first glance, it appears as cheap plastic (which I guess technically it is plastic) but, it functions great and as advertised is sleek and streamlined. I have an extremely small bathroom and believe it or not, the seat makes the toilet appear smaller because of this design.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JimM from Don't waste your time or money This has a very poor design feature where the hinges attach to the bowl. There is an open fork design that just spreads open making the seat very unstable and loose. The tighter you draw down the bolts the more the fork spreads open. The salesman tells me it's for a quick release. Making it easy to clean. But also makes it easy to just loosen and come right off. The engineer that designed this must have been sleeping at his desk for the day, and came up with this 10 minutes before it was time to go home.

Rated 4 out of 5 by oldsd from The fasteners are not compatable The cone shaped split fasteners don't tighten sufficiently to keep the lid from moving around. The Kohler toilet that I have has straight holes and not tapered so that must be the problem. I am in the process of fabricating plastic T nuts on my lathe to solve the problem.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Vikk from fasteners are terrible Appears elegant, but what really turned me off were the fasteners, they took me almost half an hour to get on,splayed out on tightening and look like they will break soon. I guess they may be designed to work with Kohler toilets, I have a different brand, the fastening holes are wider, and it was not a good experience.

Rated 1 out of 5 by mmcjwo from How did this make it to market? The quick-release feature makes it impossible to tighten the fasteners enough so that the seat doesn't wiggle when you sit on it. Nice idea to offer the quick-release feature, but it was impossible to get any torque on the hinge itself--it is designed to splay. In order to splay, it can't be torqued down tight. The hinge cap is intended to hold the splay in place but it doesn't hold it tightly. There's going to be wiggle no matter what. And I looked at this every possible to way to make it work other than fabricating my own hardware as another reviewer did. As many other reviewers have discovered the same problem and the problem is so easy to identify, it makes me wonder how products like this ever get to market. Yeah, it's a great toilet seat...if no one ever sits on it, or if they don't mind the wiggle. BTW: This is a Kohler seat and I have a Kohler toilet so it's not an issue of manufacturer differences.

Rated 5 out of 5 by OldBaldFatGuy from Now how do you recommend a toilet seat to friends One thing I like about this toilet seat is that it is easily removeable. The way the seat is captured to the commode is with plastic clamps that lock into place when the cover is pushed down on the clamps. It makes it easy to clean up behind those little boys who's aim is poor. This is actually the second one I bought. The first one simply wore out at the clamps. I had it for 8 years and had no qualms about replacing it with the same thing. The material it is made of makes it easy to clean the cover and the seat. It never got stained.
