I am planning to use this heater in 8x12’ shed to protect fig trees from freezing. Maximum 10 degrees Celsius is all I need for winter months. Will it do the job? Thanks

Rated 3 out of 5 by Kibblemaster from Simple but effective. I got this heater for supplemental heat for the rec room. My pets like it, cuddling together on a circular mat lying several feet away from where the device sits on the floor, basking in the low heat flow that splashes over their furry little limbs. It has very basic controls, high and low heat - no high tech here. This heater is a simple milkhouse design, economically priced with effective heat output. And surrounded by a sturdy metal housing this heater should be really safe. But it isn't. It's too light. My kittens have already tested the tip over factor. Needs more weight or base supports to get 4 or 5 stars from me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Never Again Thanks from It was cheap, cant complain. Lowe's sucks though. It gets warm, but doesn't really heat a small room so you have to keep it right at your feet. It's also not black but more like a light grey. Also Lowe's doesn't let you unsubscribe from emails, I still have yet to get them to stop, so if you make an order, prepare to get flooded and have no control over it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Old Dodge Guy from 300 Sq Feet is a stretch Not a bad heater in the short term, the wire connection on the bottom of mine broke off, I noticed it sparking when I went to move it, thank God it didn't burn my house down. I'm restoring an old truck in my garage and it helped a bit, might have to wire in my 5000 watt 220V heater soon to replace it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Carlos414 from no control the thermostat is basically just for show. it doesn't actually control the heat level at all, it just turns up the fan to push the heat out more(which doesn't make it feel hotter, just pushes it out further) so there is basically only one heat level. There is defiantly better ones out there.

Outer casing is quite thin metal of some sort. 1 item came out of the box with a large dent in the corner so back it went (inconvenient trip). It's a bit noisy too but does provide warmth to small spaces. Paid around $50 so I guess that explains it all.
