Description

Interior and exterior heavy-duty premium quality adhesive. Designed for structural projects that require strength and durability. Ideal for installing sub-floors, exterior sheathing, siding and decking. Low VOC formulation (<1% by weight), meets "leed" standards. Elastomeric: eliminates squeaky floors. High grab: minimizes nailing requirements. Easy gunning outdoors in sub-zero temperatures. Bonds well to dry, wet, treated or frozen lumber. Manufacturer's warranty. Beige. 825-ml.

Thank you for the question. Coverage for LePage PL 400 Subfloor & Deck Adhesive is theoretically calculated, only in lineal feet of extruded adhesive bead, as follows for an 825ml cartridge: a 6 mm (1/4”) bead extrudes approximately 26 m (86 ft.) and a 9.5 mm (3/8”) bead extrudes approximately 12 m (38 ft.).

Our deck is very old and we now have some pieces that are chipping off, this adhesive works wonders. It easy to use (like with caulk) and after 48hrs it’s all set and ready to use. So far we have not had any issues and it has held up in rain and cold weather. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for an easy and budget friendly fix!

My husband and I used this to secure some parts of our wooden deck (an older deck that is needing replacement but we want to stretch things out for at least another season) and even to secure some pieces of wood around our front door. Super versatile, strong, and so far it has held up wonderfully. Highly recommend!

I received the LePage PL 400 Subfloor and Deck Construction Adhesive for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. This LePage Adhesive is a great product, with a bit of a learning curve for beginners. It spreads well, but beware of getting it on yourself or your clothes because it's hard to remove, of course! We found it is best used with a dripless gun to apply well without wastage. This product is strong, easy to spread and very useful for our ongoing renovations. We used in a lot of places during our reno, including with the flooring (under plywood which helped reduce squeaking), with our base boards, and to reinforce our kitchen island to name a few places. I liked that this had low VOCs, and we didn't notice the regular strong chemical smell that accompanied adhesives. This is especially great because we are now doing renovations in the winter and don't need to open the window to disperse the fumes. I'm going to have to buy more once we finish this one, especially for when we are going to work on the outside of the house and redoing the backyard since this says it is good in a large temperature range. I would highly recommend this product since it is useful, multipurpose and works really well.

I’ve used this before. It never disappoints. It can also be used for small caulking jobs, for example : I had to use a dap to adhere a small piece of decking which was lifting. Not anymore!

We tested this out in a few different places and projects, both inside and outside. Worked as intended, however, only time will truly tell us how well the product holds up. Was super easy to use. Not much more I can say about it at this time.
