Rated 2 out of 5 by CatGaf from Worst Ever So many things wrong with this dishwasher.The silverware basket handle broke when i tried to remove it because its in the way when you try to put the silverware in it. You need to use two hands on both sides when pulling the bottom rack out or it will fall off the side. There are no rails.. ( crazy) … had I realized it before i purchased it. The top rack where they say you can put oversized silverware Don’t believe it they do not fit. Fingerprints show on it. Drip marks. You would think the dishes would come out sparkling clean the way the inside is designed but not so from my experience.This is how the pot, dish and ladel came out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Dee4068 from Glad we bought the extended warranty! A bit over a year and the dishwasher just stopped. Displayed an IE error message. Got someone to come out, only took a few days. Except the motor and one other part are shot, so now we have to wait for replacement parts. One of the two could easily take WEEKS! We didn't buy a dishwasher to hand wash our dishes. Plus it builds up water deposits FAST and it's hard to get them off the plastic surfaces. And I was worried about water getting on the top control panel! The dishwasher won't go back far enough to protect the electronics panel (pro in$tall) so it's been a concern. Not sure how to protect the motor!?

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jill from Very quiet and efficient. After 4 months of looking at dishwashers online, comparing prices , features, and customer comments, I finally made a decision o this LG model. This is the first LG appliance I have purchased, and thus far I am very pleased with my choice. It is so quiet that I don't even know it is running. The dishes, glassware, and silverware always come out clean and dry. I like the third rack for small items, and the fact that the middle rack is adjustable has been a help with big items. All in all, I am very satisfied. My husband took care of the installation without any problem. Another factor in my choosing LG was the extended warranty that I didn't find with any other makes. Good to know they stand behind their product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by rspind01 from Really Quiet and Works Well The dishwasher is so quiet you have to be silent for a moment to hear if it is running; really gets the dishes clean! Installation was simple and required a minimum set of tools. The internet connectivity is convenient but is limited in what you can do with it - you can do little else with your wireless device other than monitor the status of the current cycle. You can download custom wash cycles to use for a load but they are not so useful that you would do it often. All washes have to be initiated on the machine itself. The steam cycle works really well if you need to sanitize a cutting board used for chicken, for instance. Im happy with the purchase

The dishwasher installation was a very easy proccess for DIY. i even set it up with my app for settings and notifications. All was perfect. 6 months afterwards i had a problem draining. I contacted LG support who walked me through some steps to help rectify the issue. It was determined i needed an on site tech. they scheduled the service arrived on time and resolved the issue quickly. The drain hose needed to be replaced. The hose was filled with grease and debris. The tech advised me of great tips of how to preent this occuring in the future which i will definetly do. Thanks LG, all good now!

After I clean off the dishes it will wash them but all of the dry cycles, and I’ve tried them all , do not dry the dishes. I’ve watched YouTube videos and read all of the instructions. But there is no dry cycle that dries the dishes. The cleaned off dishes come out clean but damp and anything plastic on any shelf of the dishwasher are full of water inside and out. I’ve tried all the all of the instructions etc. nothing works. Damp dishes even if left over night with the extra dry cycle used. I’ve resigned myself the only way to get dry dishes it to dry them by hand. I don’t recommend this product Unless You like drying Your dishes by hand

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ps316 from Build quality of top panel is not good Having issue with build quality of top panel. I saw that in some reviews earlier but ignored thinking that could be one of cases. And it is not one of case. I started seeing cracks on top plastic panel within 2-3 months and of course nothing has hit the panel. And when we tried to raise the request to fix, we were told that it is cosmetic issue and not covered under warranty. This is really not good product, I think many facing tame issue with this product. It should be recalled and fixed. Otherwise don't see any issue with it, only other thing is that the shorter cycle doesn't dryup the dishes well. We have to use high temp and extra dry which takes 3 hours cycle.

It constantly has a rotting food smell despite us cleaning out the filter and running it nearly daily. It oftentimes doesn't clean dishes The buttons are on the top of the door rather than on the front which is stupid because most people's counters cover the top of the dishwasher And the little container door where you put in the dishwasher soap is so finicky it doesn't stay closed. You have to close it very gently and try three times. Do not buy!! It's a shame because we bought other LG appliances and like them (their fridge is pretty great).
