Description

This slide-in electric range by LG is equipped with 5 elements, including a dual element and a triple element that fit different sizes of pots and pans. Can you use cast iron skillets and pressure canner on the glass top? How is the best way to clean top to avoid heat etching or those bluish marks?

Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Brews Guy from Commercial Quality at Home This LG range is an excellent example of how one can have commercial cooking and baking quality at home. We previously owned an LG range which was a favorite until the smooth top cracked. We replaced it with a Kenmore convection range which we liked too. But it was never the LG we had. Fastforward to 2021 and a kitchen remodel where we updated all of our white appliances to stainless steel. That's when we decided to go back to an LG. We loved the idea of a slide-in range too. This specific model checked all the right boxes plus some! To date, we have utilized the remote preheat through ThinQ app, and the Air Fry option is INCREDIBLE!!! Very pleased with this purchase so far...

Rated 5 out of 5 by SSSW from Love, Love, Love this range!! In the past three years I have owned a three different brands of electric ranges and the LG is BY FAR the BEST! The top surface is very easy to clean and maintain, burners heat well (although a little slower than some but they work great). Baked two loaves of homemade bread today and they turned out beautiful and taste good too! Haven't tried the air fryer but anxious to do so. Overall I am extremely pleased with the range and highly recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Great oven and plenty of features. This oven has been great!! We have used almost every option on it so far including the air fryer for some popcorn shrimp. Some online reviews said the air fryer tray didn't come with their but ours did. We love the extra space, the user interface is great and the added benefit of a indicator sound when you turn on one of the burners is great. We have older littles, so were a little apprehensive about the front knobs. The only thing that I wish was different was the space in the back for the plug. We had to use the included extension because our plug is floor mounted and hits when trying to push the oven all the way back. The extension worked great though and doesn't take away from the look. Because that extension is provided, I didn't knock a star off. All in all, this is hands down the best stove/oven we have ever owned. We are glad we spent the extra to get an upgraded model.

Now I am unable to cook and facing an expensive repair. Not sure if this will be covered under warranty. Incredibly disappointed and frustrated.

Where I think this stands out is the oven features. The Pro Bake Convection system really is fantastic, this is likely my favorite oven. It's very easy to use, with a dial that indicates what function you are using and the heating is incredibly fast. I really enjoyed that this oven is multifaceted and the air fryer was a great plus for me. Remote connect start was a nice add and the self clean feature was fantastic to use. The reason this is not a 5 star review from me is the stove top. The ranges take long to heat up and once they do, they seam overheated, so it's a delicate balance I was unable to master. I also dislike the fragility of the surface. The instructions indicate how important not scratching (accidental glide of pans) or cracking can be for the oven itself since it's a ceramic top. This becomes a potential liability for the longevity for the range top, which I found to be a negative point. In closing, this is a decent stovetop and fantastic oven with a lot of features to take advantage of.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Barbie M from Honest Review! Purchased in June 2022. Here is my critique: The blue interior is lovely! The cooktop (black/electric is challenging to look clean. Microfiber cloths work best. 1. The oven racks move smoothly on their own, but once you put your pans/casseroles in… good luck! They do not operate smoothly and because of the weight on them, it is scraping the sides of the oven… now damaged! Ugh! LG sent new racks… thank you, but they really are not a better fit… too tight. 2. The dials for the cooktop need to have a clearer contrast between the dial and the knob dial…. Very difficult to read and I have a well lit kitchen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MitchL from Beautiful oven We had an older slide in range with coil eyes and wanted to get one with a flat top but size was an issue. This range fit perfectly with a little cut out on the depth. The oven cooks great and we really like the convection oven and all the other settings that are available on this oven. It’s very easy to clean with the easy care. I already have it set up with the Wi-Fi and app because we have an LG dishwasher so I just had to add the oven to the app. Only complaint is the controls for the cook too turn on easily if bumped so we keep the control lock on until we are ready to use the oven and turn it back on after we use it. I would definitely recommend LG products.
