Rated 1 out of 5 by ZibZab from Not a great bottom rack, then an error msg Bought this dishwasher about a month ago. Cleaning wise it worked well. We weren't crazy about the bottom rack. It was a rough pulling it out and didn't want to stay on the track. One of the plastic wheels on the rack ended up popping off since it wasn't rolling straight while pushing back in. After about 3 weeks of use we started getting an error message "AE". The drain pump kept on constantly running even though there was no water in it. Tried turning the power off and resetting it but nothing seemed to work. Was still within the return window so I took it back in stead of trying to get it repaired.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ruth from Surprised at its performance I was expecting this dishwasher to be only fair at drying the dishes since it doesn't have the traditional heat element. Well, I was surprised that it did a great job! It was also extremely quiet. We're very pleased. The only thing I would change is the silverware holder. It doesn't have the large openings for utensils such as ice cream scoops, etc. I did modify ours to make it work; it wasn't an easy fix. One thing I wish I had known before I bought this model is that if you decide on the one with the 3rd rack, you can remove it if you want to for more space. The price difference for us wouldn't have been worth it though.

After years of tolerating an old, poor performance dishwasher, we finally got a new one and are SO PLEASED that this LG model is the one we brought home. Baked-on, crusty pans or plates smeared with food, it ALL comes out clean (and dry!) I haven’t used any of its feature cycles like “heavy”, “turbo” or “extra dry” because using the “normal” cycle works so brilliantly. Of the (very few) poor reviews on this machine, I can’t help but think there’s some outside reason or plumbing issues because the product itself is superb.

We had not successfully used the dishwasher in our custom built home from the start for seven years—it did not clean, it did not dry, and was noisy. At 70 years old and having raised ten children we’ve had a lot of experience with many “high end” dishwashers. This one was relatively cheap. I installed it myself. I am a lawyer, but think I am pretty handy. It was easy to install, especially the plumbing. Our dishes are clean and dry—noticeably cleaner, I believe, than when hand washed. And it is very quiet. This is my first review of anything—I ignore the requests, but I was impressed with this dishwasher.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Nanna from Somewhat disappointing so far. So far it is better than the one it replaced because it does work. However, I am less than happy with the way it cleans coffee and tea cups (so far not at all well, but will change detergent and see if it makes a difference), the way wine glasses are difficult to load (they fall down every time you close the door) and the silverware basket is very inconvenient to get the silverware clean (you have to load each individual piece in little slots which means you have to touch where other mouths have been. Yuk. And if you remove the inserts for the silverware and load it as normal, nothing actually gets clean. It is Super Quiet, which was a selling point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Susan from Dry dishes, even plastic. Has night dry mode. Have this dishwasher for about a month now and love it. It gets the dishes completely dry which was a main complaint with my old dishwasher. It runs so quietly I hardly notice that it's on. The third top rack makes it easy to clean larger utensils such as knives and spatulas. The average run time on the normal cycle is slightly over two hours compared with the older unit which was closer to four hours. I highly recommend this LG product and look forward to many years of use.

It holds alot, it is quiet and is very functional at holding all of our variety of dishes. At first we were excited about using the top drawer shelf for our silverware but I found the baskets were better for that. The shelf works better for spatulas and large spoons and knives and thins that are too big for the baskets. Only thing we have noticed is that if you lean up against the front you can accidentally turn the Power on. My wife does not like that. Also a normal load takes 2 hours and 28 minutes to completion. Seems a bit long but the end result is good so it's OK.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Need a top panel from Mixed feelings I’ve been using my new dishwasher for about 2 months. Following every normal cycle there’s heavy condensation on the door. I read others posts that indicate this is a common problem. The only solution is to run the Extra Dry cycle each time. So, additional expense on my electricity bill. It does work however. Two of the fold down dividers keep falling on their own, causing my plates to come crashing down against one another and of course not getting clean. Lastly, I hate the front control panel. It’s extremely sensitive so when I’m working at my sink, the slightest touch engages the power button and tries to start a cycle. Wish I’d bought a dishwasher with top control panel!!
