Rated 5 out of 5 by EmBe from So fun for family and friends! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was fairly easy to set up. We had two adults and it took 45 minutes. One would take longer and be more tricky. Our favorite feature is the ball - great quality, see photo. The stabilizer bars make it nice and sturdy. Remember playing tether ball with the tire and concrete? It’s similar to that but not as bulky. It does not get in the way. The ball has come unhooked a couple times from the top of the bar but that is because we didn’t tighten the screw well. Make sure it’s tight. We have loved playing this together so much that we’re all sore! It’s a great product to get you out and moving. I would recommend this to people for sure.

Might need two people if you lack upper body strenght. I've owned this tetherball set for roughly a month, although I've only used it once. Pumped up the ball for the first time and there was a microscopic hole that deflated after a few hits. Contacted customer service and they are in the process of sending out a replacement ball, for free. Their customer service team is currently overwhelmed at the moment due to Covid-19/Quarantine--everybody is buying new activities to play outside so it's no surprise! Be patient and their team will take care of you.

We have had a cement filled tire tetherball pole for years and were excited to compare it to this new lifetime system. The lifetime system is not as tall as the other pole, so it is better suited for children. The lifetime system was easy to assemble and is more sturdy than I expected! The stabilizer kit worked so well! I would recommend to drill holes before inserting the screws. I couldn’t get them in without drilling first. My kids enjoyed playing very much and we are looking forward to many hours outside playing tetherball. The actual tetherball is very good quality and appears that it will last a long time! Much better than the old one!

The stabilizer kit works great and the base is incredibly sturdy when filled with water. My 2 children (ages 5 and 7) have a blast plus my husband and I have been able to play against each other not worrying about our strength. This is great for our distance learning physical education and just any time fun. We have already had neighbors compliment it when we play in the front yard. Incredibly impressed with how heavy duty the tetherball system is and I can’t wait to play for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used Lifetime products (from tables to basketball hoops) for years and always loved their stability and durability. We have several of our kids that love tetherball, however they are big teenage boys now and we felt like we would have to bury the pole in order to get it stable enough and so we never bought one. But Lifetime was able to step up to the plate and design a tetherball pole that can handle the centrifugal force our teens will put it through! The new stabilizer kit seems simple enough, but it provides incredible stability. In the pictures, our 5ft 9in 14-year old is facing off with his 6ft 15-year old brother, and you can see that the base isn't lifting and the pole is holding true. The other picture is our 10-year old showing off his win against Dad! The system is very easy to put together and you can be ready to play in 20 or 30 minutes. We just used water to fill the base and it worked well enough. Sand would make it even more solid. We have a nice open area in the back that our kids are always walking past, and it only takes a few minutes to hurry and play a game and assert who is king of tetherball on your way through! Love the system and love Lifetime. Thanks for taking a classic and making it work so well!

It was perfect to set up in the driveway so when they visit we can play outside. It took about 40 minutes for my son-in-law and I to put it together. We filled ours with water and it was fast and easy. My favorite feature is the ball! I always remember them being hard this one is very soft. The system is very stable and does not wobble or move during play. My grandkids really love it! They like to play together and by themselves. Their ages are from 3 to 12 years old.

Especially love the soft ball...better than the ones on the playground. Might want to update the photo on here though. It shows a white area whereas mine is yellow.

My husband had it set up in about 30 minutes that’s including filling the base with sand/water. We got this for my 2 younger girls and once we pulled it out the neighborhood kids came running so be prepared to be the cool house. All the kids had no idea you could have tetherball ball at home they thought it was just at school recess. The system kept them entertained for a long time and they all walked away red cheeked , sweaty and asking for drinks! I love it! Makes a mom feel good when they love playing outside. The stand/stabilizer works great to hold down the base with no wobbling and no movement in the pole while playing. Even my husband took a few swings and the unit stayed put. It was also simple for an adult to roll into a different location if needed or to be stored in the garage. My favorite feature is the ability to move it from the grass to cement or garage. My 3 year old took a few good falls after running and trying to hit the ball so the grass was a great place for her to play but the older girls preferred it on the cement. Item shipped to my house quickly!
