This portable basketball system from Lifetime Products features a 54 in. steel-framed acrylic backboard with a Pump Adjust™ height adjustment mechanism that adjusts from 7.5 to 10 feet high in infinite height increases. The new clearview backboard eliminates backboard braces to increase stability and target visibility. It also includes a Slam-It Pro® rim with an all-weather nylon net and a 3.5 in. diameter square steel pole. Rated 5 out of 5 by Nate from Love this hoop! We've had our hoop for a few weeks now and so far it's been great! Here's a few reason this was the model we chose for our family. 1- Portability. We have it on the end of the RV pad and we needed to be able to move it around. Even with the base full of water, it is easy to move around but sturdy for play. 2- I like the combination of the acrylic and steel-framed backboard. It gives the hoop a cool look and most importantly, a great rebound. Finally, the hoop is very easy to adjust. Our 13 year old uses the hoop more than anyone else and she is easily able to adjust it to the height of her liking. I highly recommend this hoop!

I really like the glass backboard which makes it feel like an authentic NBA hoop. My friend fills his base with water from the garden hose every spring and easily drains out the water every fall. It is really heavy and stable when filled with water but it is easy to move once the water is drained. So many portable hoops are junk, but this one is truly a quality product!

It takes a little while to assemble but in the end it was worth it. My son has spent endless hours playing with this hoop. We have had 1 small issue with the rim clips breaking off so it made it hard to string the net after awhile. I was able to fix it temporarily and when I contacted Lifetime they were quick to order a new rim and the hardware and I'm waiting for delivery of the replacement parts.

It rolls well and keeps the games going. Since I beat everybody I play, it is probably the best portable hoop ever made!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Michael from Amazing portable basketball system This hoop far outperforms the old one that I'v played on. The balls bounce better off the backboard than some of the smaller hoops and the rim resists heavy dunks perfectly. Ours has a little sand it in to offset for the heavier players hanging on the rim, but the basin full of water is fine for most kids. We chose portable so that we could move it to the curb in our cul de sac without getting in the mailman's way.
