Rated 5 out of 5 by Hikermom from Great Way to get rid of Kitchen Ants We had an infestation of little ants in our kitchen, and they were driving me crazy. I sprayed baseboards & under appliances with indoor-friendly prevention and tried to keep the kitchen counters free of food - no luck. Within hours of placing the Terro ant bait stakes around the perimeter of the porch outside our kitchen, no more ants inside! I also placed several indoor Terro liquid ant baits under the kitchen sink. There were a couple of ice cream bowls left on the counter through the night, but no ants again! This is a very effective product, and I highly recommend it! We will certainly purchase this again if needed.

After several years of having an underground city of ants that would send up mounds of soil all over our lawn, they have finally met their demise. The ants were actually destroying the turf and leaving bare patches all over the place.I would poke the nest and ants would come pouring out. Then I read about the Terro Ant Bait. Fortunately it's available in stores so I picked up two boxes. With great delight I planted the baits everywhere there was any evidence. After several days when I disturbed the ant hills there was nothing. Yes!! Now the lawn is even filling back in where the ant mounds have been. I am at the ready with extra baits at the first sign of new ant activity. So glad I found this product!!!

The first few days that you put the bait out ( drops of liquid on paper ) the ants come in droves and just can't get enough. Then in three to four days there are hardly any ants at all. I keep fresh bait on the window sill where we have the problem. A word of warning, this stuff is sticky so be careful what you put it on. Even though it is sticky, it cleans up easily with just water, so use it as much as you need to. The best ant product I have ever used yet.

My wife was going nuts and was about to call in an exterminator, when a friend suggested I try Terro liquid ant bates. Lowes did not have the indoor product in stock, so I bought the outdoor version. I placed them all around the perimeter of the kitchen,and WALA! the ants were gone. It has been two weeks since I put them out and I (and the wife) have not seen an ant since. (Much less expensive than an exterminator!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Cryss from The ants are finally gone! I have been suffering every summer for at least 3 years with ants. They were the little black ants and they would come in around the kitchen sink and bathroom sink. Both locations were located on the outer walls of the house. We have tried different kinds of pellets that you sprinkle on your lawn and nothing worked. I finally bought these bait stakes and placed two on each side of the house and also on 3 other areas in the yard where the ants were worst and within 3 days the ants were gone. It is now 2 months later and still no sight of ants, Thankfully. Although the bait inside the stakes have all dried up, I'm curious to see how long the ants will actually stay gone until I have to buy more. The stakes are not very strong, so be careful when inserting them in the ground and be sure to put them in areas that you won't be using the lawn mower. Like, up against sidewalks, directly against the house or right next to driveway, etc.

They started in my kitchen, and I bought the big pump spraying of indoor/outdoor BlackFlag to take care of it. That stuff killed them on contact, and they had seemed to have gone away. Then, 48 hours later they were in the bathroom. Sprayed that, along with every window/door frame and the entire perimeter of the house... twice. 3 days later I found them in the dishwasher. A few relatives recommended Terro, so I figured I'd give it a try. This was the only type of Terro product at my local Lowe's. I used all 8 stakes and did a perimeter around my home, as well as placing one on the trail of their ant holes along my driveway. It's been over a week and I haven't seen another ant in the house since. If this holds up, I'll never use another brand!

Because it's vegetables I have been limited on what I can use to control the ants. The bait is in the stake and can't be absorbed by the plants. In less than ten days I have wiped out entire colonies. I placed them on the perimeter where ants enter the garden and they wasted no time going in to feed. Very pleased.
