Our contractor just installed the utile thunder grey back wall and two side walls. One side wall does not align with the back wall and the "grout lines" are off by about 1/8th of an inch in alignment. Have you encountered this and do you have a solution?

I have a smaller space for a corner shower. Would it be possible to connect two side panels (one as the back wall surround and one as a side) instead of using the larger wall panel?

Is there a physical reason why it has to be installed on a Max base. I already have a high-end acrylic base (Sterling) installed? I was going to tile the walls but now would like to use MAAX panels instead.

Hello Micmep, There is not physical reason why the Utile walls cannot be used on other companie's bases, the bases you see that are compatible with the Utile system are bases we have tested the walls with, your base could work with the Utile walls if the dimensions will allow the walls to be installed, please note that we cannot confirm if your base can or cannot fit with our Utile walls. Very robust, easy assembly (have plenty of silicone onhand though) and gave us the updated look we were after. We used two side walls as well as the back panel. I was a bit concerned with the dark colour showing water spots but with regular cleaning, so far so good.
