The MIM75 ice maker produces up to 34 kg (75 lb) of ice cubes daily and includes a freestanding storage bin that can hold 11.33 kg (25 lb) of ice cubes. Made of stainless steel, this device is durable, easy to clean and requires little maintenance. The crystal clear, bullet-shaped ice cubes are ideal for use at home, restaurant, bar, hotel, grocery stores and more. Designed for freestanding or recessed installations, this model operates on ordinary household electricity while being NSF and UL listed for commercial use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Semofarm from Good ice machine. It looks really good! We had a freestanding ice maker for over 10 years - different brand, size, style. This one is a little noisy when dropping the ice. For the price, I would think you would have more selection in the type of ice it makes. Upon instillation, it was making ice on the largest setting. My husband and I changed it to the smallest setting and it is still slightly larger than I would like. And I really don't like the design of the cubes, but they serve the purpose. On the smaller setting, they don't seem to last as long, i.e. in a glass of tea. And to access the setting of the ice, you have to remove the front cover! Why didn't they just put the buttons on the outside of the machine???

We wanted the lowest price commercial unit and this is it. On occasions we thought we should have bought a larger one, on the two or three times a year, when we have an event. But for an every day use this unit has worked for us with no problems at all.
