This 18 V MultiVolt cordless 10-in single bevel mitre saw kit is the first of its kind in the market. Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Nice compact saw. Plenary of power. We have used this saw trimming out a lot of windows. The saw has good power running on an 18v or 36v multi volt battery. I would recommend a better blade out of the box but the blade that comes with it is ok for rough cut stuff. The saw does have a shadow line that I like. I don’t like lasers. However I don’t like that you have to turn the light on and off with a switch. I wish it was activated with the trigger. For a 10” saw it’s compact and lightweight. Great saw for punch out work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dan iel from Really good saw, and unique product! This is a unique product in the market. I don't recall seeing many other 10", non-sliding, battery powered miter saws, of any. The saw is great for cutting 2x4 and 4x4 sized material, as well as trim; and works great on both hardwood and softwood. Pros: - The saw is light weight (can easily be lifted with one hand) - Quiet (compared to my corded larger saw) - Love the LED shadow line - Has a blade brake Cons: - The blade that comes with the saw is not great (but that's common with most saws) - Saw was not at perfect 90 degrees out of the box (again, probably not that uncommon, and really easy to adjust) - dust collection isn't great (also common among miter saws Overall, this is a really good saw, with the cons being common amongst other saws as well.

Fits just about anywhere and you can easily carry it one handed even with a battery in it! it has a light that casts the blades shadow on what your cutting so you know exactly where your blade will fall on the material you’re cutting. It has plenty of power and the battery life seems pretty good! Overall a great saw for some quick punchout work or trim. I’d highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ewing25 from Powerful, lightweight, Love the LED light! I am a general contractor in SC, making renovations to flood damaged homes from the recent Hurricane. I am using PVC material on the walls as wainscoting and I needed a miter saw to make the cuts on the trim. This 10" Metabo HPT miter saw is just the saw for the job. It is lightweight and powerful. It easily cuts through the PVC material. The largest piece that I cut was a 1x6, 5 1/2" wide. There were jobs that I didn't have electricity, so the battery power was the only option. I'll be honest I was very surprised with the power that this saw has. I really liked the LED light that casts a shadow as a blade/cut line on the cutting surface. I like 12" miter saws but I'm not fond of lugging them around. This 10" miter saw is the perfect size matched with the power of a corded saw. I'll be using this saw for framing jobs to running crown molding.

As someone who do new construction build, and sometimes having no power on the job site, having better operating miter saw is a huge help!! It’s compact and useful and is extra awesome because it can be cordless. The shadow line cut feature is a welcome addition on this saw and allows for more accurate and efficient work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GregB from Basic, but Accurate [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The weight (less than 20 lbs without a battery) is what drew me to this. I'm a remodeling contractor that's often moving around on a job, so having a compact, lightweight saw is a must. I've used this extensively on siding & trim for the past few months & have been very satisfied. It was accurate right out of the box, which meant not having to fuss with adjusting the fence or miter & bevel scales. The blade that ships with this is okay for framing, but not much else. I replaced it immediately & the quality of cut improved dramatically. This is a great punch-out saw for a finish carpenter who works with average size moldings. And it shines for exterior trim & siding, as it's light enough to easily tote around, even on scaffolding. Keep in mind that the saw's trigger safety button is on the left side of the handles, which may make it inconvenient for left handed people. It would have been nice if the engineers made the button accessible on both sides of the handle.
