This innovative 36 V MultiVolt wet and dry vacuum gives a maximum airflow of 124 CFM and the choice of battery or corded power! It serves as a lightweight, powerful, and portable addition to the commercial vacuum line for all non-HEPA needs. You get to choose whether it operates cordless or corded. Cordless with 372121M battery, it can be corded with the 36 V adapter, both sold separately. Features 3 different levels of suction power and it also can operate on 1 or 2 batteries, which are sold separately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by murcha from murcha [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months back, it is a very versatile and sturdy vacuum, I use it for multiple uses, typically I use it on job site, however it has become my go to for cleaning my vehicles as well. No power cord needed (you have that option as well) and it has tons of power at the higher setting when using the twin battery packs This is unlike the competition in the sense that it feels and works like an industrial unit. Rated 4 out of 5 by Pako from Not perfect but a true workhose [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had it for over a year, it doesn't have auto-clean but i've brought it to hell and back. I use it mainly to collect dust from power tools doing finish carpentry. The 3 different power modes really help you maximize runtime and dust collection based on the tool. The size makes it super portable and that's where it shines. I'm not a fan of the included accessories and hose. You also have to clean the filter regularly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by David1960 from One minor problem First i love the vacuum. The only problem has to do with the hand end of the vacuum. The hard plastic is too long and it interferes with the tracksaw. If i can figure how to fix this the vacuum would be a 5 star

Rated 5 out of 5 by DD6030 from Very well built and Optioned Vacuum!!! I've owened this vacuum about a month now. Looking at the options of this vacuum compaired to the other brands of cordless tools out there, Metabo HPT took it up a notch again!!! First off the 3 speed motor option is a very nice, depending on the job you are doing. High speed really has suction! Another really nice feature that I love about this vacuum is the option to load 2 batteries in it right off the bat when you go grab it to use it. What I like about this is, I have been finding that I will load it with 2 batteries to go do a project like vacuuming the car and it just doubles the run time if you need it. Many times when I'm done, I find it has only used one of the 2 batteries and I can simply use the unused battery for something else in the future, because it will drain them sequentially and only drain one battery before it starts draining the second battery. Other nice features are the filter purge button, the wheels, the suction power, and the AC adaptor option. So far I haven't used the AC adaptor because the battery run time is adequate, but I do see myself using the adaptor on larger jobs it the future.

Let's get the elephant in the room out of the way: It's not the cheapest for a shop-vac, however I've found the quality, convenience, and power to be well worth the cost. In the short time I've had the RP3608DAQ4 it has replaced another brands 3 gallon battery powered shop vav - my previously most-used tool - as well as the corded shop-vac I would use for bigger jobs. This feels like the perfect tool for the AC/DC converter. I usually keep it on the medium suction as I find it to be good for 90% of the stuff I pick up and I can get a full day's use of a single 4.0 battery. If I ever feel I want the extra power the high setting is impressive; however it will eat through a battery charge. The ability to plug this in and run it on high as long as needed is what really sets this apart, and I'm not sure I want to - or could - go back to another shop-vac without the flexibility this offers. The build quality is quite good and I don't feel it's going to break any time soon. Despite feeling quality, and stable, it's light and very portable. If I had to nitpick I wish it came with a better solution for tool/hose storage, but it's perfectly fine as-is. Especially as its replaced needing two tools Overall I have found this multi-volt vacuum a joy to use, and worth the money. I look forward to having it for years to come.
