In or out is up to you. You need to decide left or right. With your back to where you want the hinge decide which side the door swings out to. That’s the door swing.

Open the door and put your back against the hinge, if your LEFT hand is closest to the knob it is LEFT opening, if your RIGHT hand is closest to the knob it is RIGHT opening.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Dsharb from Warped frame I just went to install this door and found out that the frame is warped from front to back. I mean the wood is warped and not the frame as a whole. I can square it up to the walls I installed so the door opens and closes reasonably but will have to plane the front of it once it is in place in order to reasonably hide the warp with some trim. Otherwise the front of the frame will stick out 3/16 to 1/4 of an inch from the drywall. I realize that you get what you pay for but I would be embarrassed to ship this product from my factory. I have already trimmed the base of the frame and the door as my basement ceiling is somewhat low, otherwise I would return the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Taylom from Strong solid door! I bought this door 2 weeks ago and installed it without any issues. When I compared this door to two other doors bought at another home improvement store, the difference was night and day. The quality of the Reliabuilt is so much better then the other two doors. I did not have to modify this door in any way to make it work. I would definitely buy more of this door the next time I plan another reno.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ArtfulCodger from You really get what you pay for. These doors from Metrie are inexpensive in comparison to other available products. There is a good reason for that. Quality control is virtually non-existent. Screws are installed through the hinges at hit & miss angles. The hinges are off-set at differing measurements even on the same door. Attempting to close these doors is like trying to close them with a small prybar in the hinge since screws protrude from the hinges. I ended up repacing the screws with ones 1/8” longer so doors would close within the confines of the door frame.

It is very little more expensive than buying the parts and gives me a better overall result in far less time than doing it myself. It is well worth the money to do it this way every time for any standard door opening.

De plus la qualité de l'assemblage est très mauvaise. Il y a des clous qui sortent à l'intérieur du cadrage. De façon générale, les portes et cadrage sont endommagés. Il y a beaucoup de rayures et accrocs (chips) un peu partout
