Description

Help keep your property protected with the Globe(R) Motion-Activated Dual Halogen PAR 38 Security Light. This security lamp features a 110-degree motion sensor with a variable detection range of up to 60' (18.29 m). The adjustable light timer can be set to 1, 5 or 10 minutes for optimum control. This security light can be mounted from the wall or eaves for versatile installation. It uses two halogen PAR 38 bulbs (not included) and is LED bulb compatible.

The description indicates "plastic" for construction, but the detailed specs say "metal". I need to cut a hole for an extension cord in order to convert it to plug-in use, and plastic is probably what I need. Is the base plastic?
