This electric fireplace by Napoleon is 42 inches wide and 20 inches high. It comes with an easy-to-use stand and it can also be hung on the wall. With its 1500W fan-forced heater, it can heat spaces up to 400 ft², ensuring your comfort with a high and low setting. Use the included remote or side control panel to adjust the flame intensity, heat output, and timer. This product is backed by a 1-year limited warranty.

No, this unit is wall mounted and cannot be recessed into the wall. This unit also has feet and can stand on its own.

Put the fireplace on every night when I go to bed and set the timer for half an hour.  Replaced the battery but it doesn’t want to automatically turn off how to fix it.

Since the heat vent is at the top on this fireplace, is it okay to install a TV above it? If so, how much distance should be left between the top of the fireplace and the bottom of the TV? Do you recommend putting a TV above it or not? Thank you

Elevated temperatures on the wall or in the air above the appliance can cause melting, discolouration or damage to decorations, a TV or other electronic components. Ensure clearances to combustibles are maintained when building a mantel or shelves above the appliance. 39" is the minimum clearance from the top of the fireplace to a mantle/ ceiling. We recommend checking your TV manufacturer installation guide regarding this as well.

The heat comes out of the top and blows upwards, and the light can be used without the heat function on. Please ensure you follow installation instructions listed in the manual.

Looks nice and adds a great atmosphere. The only con is a strange noise it makes intermittently. It’s difficult to describe but it sounds like the graphic roller (that makes the flame display) has a lose fastener and is vibrating. I’ve had the unit apart trying to find it and have been unsuccessful. Overall it isn’t that noticeable and for $200 it’s hard to complain.

Installed it that afternoon and when put into the high heat setting, the unit would turn itself off after about 3 minutes. It seems the thermal safety switch wasn't working. Waited on hold at the manufacturer's phone support (not Lowe's) for 100 minutes (literally my phone shows how long the call was). Finally spoke to someone and I explained the problem. Finally they suggested I return it. Went back to Lowe's and they were absolutely awesome with the return. No drama, swapped it for another. Installed the second one without any issues and it works fine.

I covered the opening with black plywood and mounted the electric one to that after some planning. Looks great, easy instructions, love the remote! Measure twice, mount once, use a level for sure....

Rated 3 out of 5 by Allyjs from Love the look and heats up the room Love the look of the fireplace and heats up the room well, but there are a few downsides, biggest one being that it is synced up with my tv remote so everytime I hit power on the tv remote it either turns on or off and everytime I use the volume down button it controls the temperature. Another downside is it doesn’t show you whether it’s set to high or low temperature. A thermostat would probably be a better option. I would recommend in a room with no tv or other remotes. But I am saying no on this one unless you read through the review as to why.

The only downside is that there are small reflections at the top, but other than that it’s great. We recommend it if you don’t want to have different flame color. It’s a simple fireplace at a reasonable price and we love it!
