The Onsen 5L Portable Tankless Water Heater turns cold water into instant hot water so you can enjoy a hot shower on all your outdoor adventures. Ideal for heating summer water temperatures of 60°F / 15°C and warmer, the Onsen 5L runs on a standard propane tank and has an electronic ignition activated by water pressure and flow. Featuring a premium shower head, digital screen and included 12V battery clips, the Onsen 5L is perfect for hunting camps, off-grid cabins, camping, boating, pet grooming, horse trailers, stables or simply rinsing off by the pool.

Hello, if the unit is connected to municipal water (garden hose), then a pump is not required because the water pressure is already provided by the city. A pump is often required in areas where water pressured is not supplied by the municipality.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tankless from Works great Been using it every day since I got the unit and it's worked perfectly so far. I can't believe that this little unit is capable of producing steaming hot water within seconds. I pump water from a deep well to two water tanks inside our cabin and then use a 12v pump to feed the shower and kitchen sink. The water pulled from the tanks averages room temperature but if I were pulling water directly from the stream outside I'd probably go for their larger model as I'm not sure this one would be able to keep up with freezing water temps. I was a little skeptical at first but I have to say I'm a believer now.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Seb L from Éteint sans cesse Ne chauffe pas très chaud: le cut-off théorique est à 50°C mais il éteint souvent bien avant d'atteindre cette température. De plus, la moindre brise de vent suffit à l'éteindre. La valve de la pomme de douche ne ferme vraiment pas tight. Tout ça combiné ça rend le produit très difficilement utilisable en camping.

Il faut avoir une bonne pression d'eau par contre. Si vous navez pas de pression ça ne fonctionnera pas aussi bien. Personnellement je men sers au chalet jen suis vraiment satisfait. Je le recommande.
