Ideal for occasional chain saw users, this durable and economical tool makes hand sharpening easy. Includes both a 12-volt car adapter and battery clips for convenient use anywhere. Simple sharpening angle adjustment guide for accuracy. Sharpens any round-ground 1/4-in, 3/8-in Low Profile, .325-in, 3/8-in or .404-in chain. High impact housing holds a powerful motor that runs at an optimum 25,000 rpm. Shank lock feature allows easier stone replacement

Rated 4 out of 5 by KCBChuck from No more filing! I can't believe I've waited this long to get one of these! I've sharpened my chain with the Husqvarna template and files and a manual sharpening jig. Neither seemed to give me the results I was looking for. I was beginning to think my saw was underpowered for what I was trying to cut. Then I used this and it changed my life! I don't think my chainsaw cut this good when it was new. I'll keep the files for back up, but I don't think I'll be using them anytime soon. I hook it to the battery on my Husqvarna lawnmower and in about five minutes I go back to cutting wood like a hot knife through butter.

We had Chain Saws and Pole Saws that were used constantly. This tool came in handy for making sure that all blades were sharpened for the next project. We cut many trees and wore out many blades, but this tool did the trick. We were able to assist more individuals because the blades operated more efficiently because of the Oregon Chainsaw Sharpening Kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fred from Sharp chains cuts faster, easier and safer!!! Works like a charm!!! Seriously, I'll replace this tool immediately if it every stops working. We had 20 years of uncontrolled growth on a 1 acre lot to clear including lots of hard mesquite. By touching up the chain every couple of hours we were able to clear the lot quickly. The tool is easy and quick to use ... it just works. The bit held up well but I can see some wear on it. I'd like to have a longer power cord on it and it'd be nice if it came with a case.

Very easy to use once your read the directions. Key is to read the directions. Several files sizes and angles. It takes me 5 minutes to sharpen my saw. More time to set up and put away tools. Would recommend over any Harbor Freight sharpener.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Trimmer from Plastic is junk Friend of mine uses one these so I bought one. Well come to find out this specific one model 57514 is junk. It will sharpen ur chain the the spindle lock button is plastic breaks super easy with basic snuggling of bit. Beware these are garbage bought one exchanged it 2 times everyone same result broken spindle lock could not change out sharpening stones after 1st or 2nd use.

It includes the 3 basic size sharpening stones and the angle guide. Oregon products has a very good instructional video on utube. It also runs off the 12v plug of your vehicle to allow quick sharpening in the field

Rated 4 out of 5 by RSB from Good product Very impressed overall, like that it plugs into a car power adapter or battery so it's easy to use while out working. Easy to set up. Sharpens the saw in just a few minutes. Would have given it 5 stars but the grinding stone shattered on first use. Make sure to have extras of the right size. Haven't had a problem since replacing it and used it several times.
