Description

Problem ants find Ortho Ant B GoN MAX Ant Eliminator Liquid as desirable as it is effective. This liquid formula controls ants both indoors and out. Ants are attracted to the liquid bait, and take it back to the nest where it destroys the whole colony, including the queen. Use as a spot or crack and crevice application only. Can be used under sinks and heavy appliances, at expansion joints, utility entry points and along baseboards and mouldings. Only a few drops are required to treat unwanted ants.

Rated 2 out of 5 by JM1925 from How long before it actually works ? Today is the 6th day that I've been using the product. Does it attract ants ? Yes. There are dozens of them 24/24. So they do drink the stuff. The question is why does it not kill the colony. I thought that I would see a gradual diminution of ants but on the contrary it seems that sometimes there are even more than before. I will keep at it for a while longer but I am not too impressed with the product thus far. The ants are tiny little ones that come in the kitchen from who knows where. As soon as one leaves another one comes around

I had tiny mounds of gravel that looked like volcanoes of ants around my drain tiles - ants were digging underneath. I used the Eliminator Liquid and the ants were attracted to the drops that I applied. Within 5 days, the ant volcanoes all went dormant.

The ortho ant b gon Max ant eliminator liquid worked very well to get rid of my ants in about a week. It was easy to apply, it was not messy or smelly. Most of the ants were gone in less than a week & by about 8 days they were all gone. Very pleased.

But it didn't fully eliminate the problem even after multiple applications. After awhile, there were less ants but the remaining ones went around the liquid.

Applied in morning and by evening there wasn’t many ants left. The ants had all “eaten or carried away” the liquid bait. Reapplied small amount. Next day, no more ants.
