Thank you for the great response. Could you please provide some details regarding the Detail Front End. I’m not sure what I should be looking for. Best regards.

Asked by: Kojofarmer
The Detail Finish front end nozzle is part #0529013 and it has a 1.8mm nozzle for finer atomization of your finish. Call us for help at 1-800-328-8251.

Can this unit be used to spray varnish or other solvent based products? How easy is the clean up? Is there a recommendation chart for thinning latex paints?

Asked by: Kojofarmer
While the PaintReady will spray varnish the way it is, you may want to purchase the Detail front end which will give you a nicer finish. It creates finer atomization for wood projects. Cleanup takes about 20 minutes using mineral spirits for oil based finish like varnish. You can call us at 1-800-328-8251 and we can discuss this with you.

Would this one work to paint kitchen cabinets? Seems everyone is using on outside homes and barns.

Asked by: Mike1956
While the PaintReady will paint kitchen cabinets the way it is you may want to purchase the Detail front end which will give you a nice clean finish. When you use the Detail front end or nozzle you may need to thin the paint, depending on what type of paint your spraying. You can call us at 1-800-328-8251 and we can discuss this with you.

Can I use a Wagner Paint station to paint PVC pipe? I am willing to sand the pipe. I will buy the system if you can tell me what type of paint (acrylic, latex, water based, laquers, urethanes etc) will adhere to the PVC pipe.

Asked by: Writer
Any water based or oil based paints or finishes can be sprayed using Wagner sprayers. No lacquer. Lightly sand the pvc and most any paint will stick to it. For more details call us at 800-328-8251.

Can this paint sprayer be used on ceilings

Asked by: mamasmurff
Yes you can spray ceilings with the PaintReady Station. Always be careful spraying overhead so you do not get paint in your eyes. If you have any further questions feel free to call us at 1-800-328-8251.

Pulvérisateur à peinture, PaintReady(MC), usage multiple is rated 3.5 out of 5 by 226.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Electric-Powered High Volume Low Pressure 0529002 I have used several Wagner products before and this one has some very good features such as paint capacity and the ability to control the spray amount. It makes the unit fairly heavy when you are trying to control the spray pattern to be sure it is even. The flow control didn't work particularly well; I couldn't tell the difference. You can adjust the spray pattern and that is helpful. It does a one hour paint job in about 10 minutes once all the pre work is done to cover everything. not being painted. For the price, it is a good value, and works for smaller jobs as advertised. Clean up is fairly easy, but it is critical to be sure it is clean after using it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stick with a brush Advertised, as per the box, as able to spray un-thinned latex paint. After reading the instruction manual I learned this was not always the case but I decided to try it any way. My initial attempt with the un-thinned paint clogged the sprayer immediately. After cleaning the sprayer I attempted to spray again with generously thinned latex paint, it sprayed with a terrible spray pattern. I cleaned the sprayer a second time and was able to spray plain water with a nice even spray pattern. Then the motor section on the rear of the gun fell out of the housing. I noticed the two screws designed to hold it in place weren't tightened. I would recommend sticking with a brush or roller.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Product The separation of the compressor and the sprayer keeps the sprayer lightweight, even with 1/3 gallon of paint in the container. The adjustments (2-speed compressor, variable paint delivery, 2-width spray and variable vertical to horizontal spray orientation) makes control easier. I’ve seen complaints that it isn’t easy to clean — you’ve got to be exceptionally lazy to think so. Get some latex disposable gloves and a roll of shop towels. A thorough cleaning with mineral spirits after using oil paint can be done in under an hour. Small price for painting 2 gallons of Olympic stain on a barn in under an hour.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sprayer We painted our cabinets and wanted the "professional look" that can only be obtained by spraying. My wife went to Lowe's and after an hour of interactions with multiple FANTASTIC staff members, decided on the Wagner PaintReady Sprayer. I took it out of the box and was spraying within 20 minutes, including reading the instructions. WOW, results are fantastic! Can't tell from the pic, but the finish is even and perfect. We brushed on one coat of primer and then sprayed Valspar Reserve Paint+Primer, no thinning required. Easy to switch from horizontal/vertical spray, holds plenty of paint. I definitely recommend to anyone that wants great results from a $99 sprayer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well for spraying thick paint indoors I used this to paint a rock fireplace. It sprayed Kilz2 primer without issue. For the price, my expectations were not the highest, but I was pleased with it. One of the easier to clean, and I've found several more uses for it around the house. This is about as simple as a sprayer gets. It's basically a shopvac that uses the exhaust to power the spray head. However, it just works. One the best things it does, in my opinion, is it does not atomize the paint. It shoots small droplets of thick paint, but is very controllable. I got very little overspray using undiluted paints. I used it indoors without very little issues. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Must be something wrong I got the sprayer set up, read the directions, and started painting. It was spraying a little thick, so released the trigger to adjust the flow, as in the directions, the paint kept dribbling out of the orffice, all over the paint container, and all over my floor of my garage. It had also sprayed globs of paint on the doors I was painting as it bled off the pressure. I had to set it down to get a brush to smooth out the globs. It was still oozing out paint so I picked it up and sprayed the other door I had to do, then I had the puddling problem all over again. I will be returning this item.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Had to return I already owned one of these at home but was over 7 years old and decided to get a new one to paint my laundry room. Item was already put together in the box and ready to go. After reading all of the instructions, put in the paint and began to spray. They spray was great and it was easy to use BUT, when you let up on the trigger paint began to pour out the front of the sprayer for about 30 seconds. I continued to make adjustments and try again; however, each time I sprayed the paint came pouring out the front of the sprayer each time I sprayed. It made such a colossal mess and I was soooooooooo disappointed. Customer Service had no problem taking it back.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not impressed, but getting the job done. I bought this sprayer to paint an exposed basement ceiling. I've never used a sprayer before and figured this would go faster than rolling or brushing around every nook and cranny. Even though I was doing the ceiling, I never tilted it more than 45 degrees. Everything was going fine until about 30 minutes in. Like others report, hot air came out of the blower and dried the paint to the nozzle. After 45 minutes, the paint started oozing out without a finger on the trigger.
