Pit Boss wood pellet grills are fueled by all-natural wood pellets. Electric, it's a pellet grill. They are all electric so they have a fan assist.

Mine came without a manual and I could do it by instinct. The material is thick and even the screws are first-grade. That's why it is a little heavy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Steev from Great entry level pellet grill smoker Could not let this go by at half price since I had been looking to get into hot smoking for some time. Easy to assemble as long as you have a couple of phillips 2 & 3 screwdrivers. Have made a brisket and a couple of roast pork loins for pulled pork so far, and both have turned out great cooking at 225F. Temperature seems to fluctuate a bit at the times when the auger feeds the fire but it is automated and regulated, so no problems; it stays pretty consistent. Only negative for me is that the hopper is small, but I might rig up an extension to hold more pellets. Looking forward to more low and slow cooking. It also helps to have a good recipe to start with. This grill is a good starting point. Pros: easy assembly quick to start up and hold temperature two meat probe connections (comes with one probe) porcelain coated grills for easier cleanup good for 8 types of cooking - grill, smoke, bake, roast, sear, braise, char-grill, bbq Cons: small hopper (only fits 5lbs of pellets) not as insulated as some of the larger pits no wi-fi (but then again, if you're hanging out with a beer, who needs it?)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Scoch8 from Great starter smoker Wanted to buy a smoker for a long time but didn’t want to spend a lot of money to see if I would like it but I found this one at this Store and the Manager Ryan at the Windsor location was so helpful on the different smokers and was very helpful with tips on how to use the smokers so again I think this would be a great starter smoker for people that want to start smoking and a great price.
