Rated 3 out of 5 by LarryS from Meets code, but bad mounting A very good box to use outdoors, but lousy design for mounting box. The tiny brackets they give you aren't the problem (as long as you use them properly), it is the screws. Don't even try to use the included screws: go down to hardware and get a couple the same size (don't get longer!). The screws are just such poor quality the threads will strip out immediately. NO chance to get them tight.

Rated 4 out of 5 by David S from The ONE outdoor electrical box for your projects! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This box is one that I always have spares of. These are just very good and solid electrical boxes that work great for any outdoor applications where an outlet or switch is needed. I use them with EMT or PVC conduit and it really makes work easy. The only drawback to this model is that it only has 3 holes, so if a side hole is needed, it has to be made with a hole puncher or drill, just be mindful the metal is not very hard and can be damaged. Other than that, is a versatile item to have and keep around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tenspeedr from Metal electrical box I really liked the look of this box, and the feel. I needed an out door box to replace an old one. This was the best box and value I found for my needs. I wish it would of had screw holes so the box would have used the existing vertical holes. The holes for attachment were in a diagonal line, making unwanted work. I had to get a hammer drill and tapcons to attach the box to the cement blocks to make it straight up and down. Nice that it came with screw in plugs to fill the holes not used.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Dml1 from Be ready to be very frustrated If all you want to do is mount a receptacle in a box, then this bix will do the job quite well. But if you want to mount a GFI outlet then things get tougher ... very crowded. And if you need to chase wires for another downstream box, then it is so crowded it's is almost impossible ... and because that is precisely what I needed to do ... this box is miserable to work with.
