Rated 5 out of 5 by Robert 1 from Excellent Value I recommend this mower for the following reasons 1) price is excellent for a self propelled mower 2) very easy to pull start 3) this mower is light and easy to manoeuvre 4) the self propelled feature works great. It will pull itself up reasonably steep slopes by just lifting a bit on the handle to get a bit more traction on the front drive wheels. 5) the bag fills efficiently. No clogging up when only half full 6) the cutting height adjusts effortlessly. I only have one suggestion for improvement. The handle has two bolts with large plastic wing nuts to adjust handle height and fold it up. As I need to fold up the handle to store it, it would be nice to have a spring loaded system like the wheel height adjustment. Then it would be perfect.

This machine rips through our 1.5 acre un-even lot with ease, we did first cut on almost 2ft heavy grass/weeds and as long as you use the insert to hold the discharge flapper open and go slow it's fine. the front wheel drive is controlled by lower lever and is all on or all off so you control speed by pushing down a little to slip the wheels almost like a clutch. Smokes for 1 second on start up but that is just after sitting (oil seeping down valve guides) normal thing. Very Happy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by BaoS from Remington 140cc self propelled gas lawn mower. Perfect, very good working machine. Instead of 2 hours, I use only less than 45 minutes, one time shot. All steel, made in USA. It will last for years to come. The air filter is perfect, just clean and dry it, then it can be reused again. I have checked the price of the parts before I bought, and I think Remington is perfect machine for me with affordable price and it is light weight.
