Rated 5 out of 5 by bokayak from Had to Wait for this, but it works well I did not realize that this was a special order. It took a few weeks to receive it. Installation was fairly easy. I read the instructions and programmed it at the lock itself before tying it into my iris network. What I did NOT realize was that when I tied it into my Iris system, it deleted all of the codes that were programmed into the lock itself, but was simple enough to add them again through Iris.

A few minor carpentry adjustments were required but the entire installation process was well defined by the manufacturer and resulted in a new deadbolt that worked smoothly with no negative issues attached to the process. This deadbolt was very compatible with the accompanied optional aged bronze door handle. The entire set dresses up the new door and works very efficiently.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LockLova from Great lock, quick installation. Bought one, after few months it broke. schledge replaced it. 2nd one works like a charm. Love it. Price is a lil high, but you get the luxury of no need to carry the keys everytime you leave the house. Most important: it locks after 30 seconds you shot the door (a lot of options) Overall its quick to install and works great. Have 5 leaving in the house, and the batteries last about 5-6 months.

The lock connects to our z-wave based security system, has worked great for the 8 months we've been in the house. Not sure what the other reviewer ran into, but I haven't had any problem disassembling the cover for battery or z-wave code access. When we first moved in, I needed to get the z-wave code to pair the lock with my alarm panel. I didn't have it, as the builder had installed the lock, and I didn't have the paperwork. A quick online lookup for the manual showed that Schlage conveniently prints the code inside the battery compartment. Accessed the back panel with no problems, got the code, paired the lock on the first attempt, smooth sailing ever since. I love that the lock is integrated with the alarm panel via z-wave, it's an extra reassurance and communication of all activity on the door lock. Looking forward to installing the second one on our rear exterior door.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ruhappy from Doesn't like the cold Purchased this about a month ago and installed it recently. We've had a cold snap recently (single/teen digits) and it just stopped working. Tried to get in the house last night and key pad was dead (it's also behind a storm door so it's not directly exposed). I thought it might be the batteries but this morning I tried it again and it worked fine. This could be a big problem if it's cold and my kids forget their key.. Also, you need a wink hub in order to leverage the online capabilities.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Chsguyi69 from Pairing to Iris is a pain, but a cool new gadget First one I brought home and installed the key went in and would not come out. so it went back to the store. Second attempt on the install went better, but pairing with Iris was a problem. When the lock paired with the hub, it would say "New Device 1" not Schlage, turns out the hub has to be close to the lock, in my case I had to set the hub top of the lock to set it top of the deadbolt. If you fail to do this the Iris system sees the device but says the is no support. Once I got that all done I was able to use it as expected.

Perfect for our second home with family and friends arriving at varying times. No need to chase down keys. Installation quick and easy. Instructions for use clear, and our locksmith indicated he was impressed with the quality and sturdiness. Not cheap, but seems top of the line.
