Rated 5 out of 5 by Kylesd from Must buy if you have Ring Doorbell Extremely happy with this product. After speaking with friends, the Nest x Yale lock was recommended for us. We went to the store and it wasn't available. We also looked online and it wasn't available, so we started researching more. Since we currently have a Ring doorbell this lock immediately stood out from the pack. I liked that it was compatible with the my doorbell and like many of the features (different codes for different users, app notification, matte black color). We purchased and have loved ever since. When anyone opens the door it sends me a notification, I can also view the entry through Ring. It opens fast and is reliable. I also like the feature that you can use a key if you ever need to override. Would highly recommend for Ring users.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mehie from The Best Lock! I bought this lock last year. I love this lock. This is a high quality lock and also offers great convenience. Very easy to operate. The smart feature is great. The App is super friendly and very easy to maneuver. What I love the most about this lock is I can create passcodes for multiple users and every time the lock is used, I receive notification which user is using the lock. The codes can be easily created and deleted. I purchased 2 of this lock. One in nickel and one in black. Although the black is nicer and more of nowadays style, but it's easier to view the numbers on the stain nickel. So if your door is located in a dark spot, the satin nickel is a better choice.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Chris from wifi wont work IF your buying this lock for wifi just know it may not work with your modem/router. Mine will not connect to wifi leaving me to contacted customer service. They said it will only connect to 2.4 ghz and since I have both 2.4 and 5 ghz it wont connect. Everything else works fine, just cant access it as advertised which is frustrating. I can’t recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Chris from Great product! I believe this is the best programmable dead bolt on the market. The app makes it really easy to program in codes for others. We own a rental Airbnb cabin which has 8 different families a month come to stay, and we can program two to three months ahead and give people their own code, which then can be scheduled to their arrival and removed automatically at there departure. Fantastic! I've tried several others, and this is the best hands down!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Charlie from Nice lock This is the second Schlage electronic deadbolt that I have. The first one has been installed on my front door and worked flawlessly for the last few years. So I decided to get this lock for my backdoor. The Encode lock was very easy to install and total time to remove my old normal deadbolt and installing this one was less than 30 minutes. Everything went well and connecting the lock to my WiFi was very easy. Using the Schlage app is not an issue, my other lock is a Zigbee one and works through my Smartthings app. We will have to see if this lock works as well is my Schlage Connect. I would recommend this lock to anyone who wants a smart lock that connects to your WiFi without the need of a bridge.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Charles from Schlage Encode - expensive smart lock doesn't work [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this lock about 5 months ago so I could keep track of contract pet sitters coming and going. The lock worked well for abour 3 months and then nothing. I emailed Schlage customer service with the required information for warranty exchange...nothing. I went through multiple sets of new batteries just to get basic operation restored. Although I am currently using it I will be replacing it soon as I simply dont trust it.

It also doesn't take up a lot space on the door. I purchased this lock before in nickel for another door, so I knew what I was looking for. I was very pleased with that lock. I considered other locks when this one was out of stock for so long. However, the others were either too big and clunky looking or lacked the quality of a solid lock. This one is stylish, the appropriate size, high quality/craftsmanship, and high ratings. If you can get your hands on one, BUY IT!
