Yes because you are supposed to water immediately after application which takes the active ingredient into the soil .. it doesn’t really stay on top. If you spill on the pavement then sweep away the spillage

I have bought from garden works their grub b gon in late July lay down and and water for 3 weeks daily watering and I have had no complaints.  What makes yours better as I water theirs there little worms go after the grubs and your is like pellet.

Scotts Grub B Gon Max is a beetle specific biological insecticide that will control listed larvae (grubs.) The active ingredient is: Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) subspecies galleriae strain SDS-502. Rainfall causes the active ingredient to be released from the granule. Once released, the (BT) subspecies galleriae strain SDS-502 is carried into the soil and root zone of the turf where it can be ingested by the grubs. Once ingested grubs stop feeding and die from blood poisoning/internal infection.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ss11 from Should be taken off market This is a horrible product. I applied exactly as instructed. That was 2.5 weeks ago. Now on different parts of my lawn, I pull out a weed and a 2.5 to 3" diameter tuft of grass comes with it, and low and behold....a couple of grubs underneath feasting on my grass!!! Tried different spots in my front and back yards and same thing...grass comes up, and grubs underneath. Some parts of my lawn are okay, but they have always been okay. The areas that have consistently been a problem with grubs continue to be, no thanks to this product. If you feel like wasting your money, I suggest you walk to your nearest bathroom, throw the cash in the bowl and hit the lever. Will save you time of going to get this product and applying it to your lawn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Scott50 from This product has worked great On the advice of my landscaper, I purchased several bags and covered most of the lawn, leaving a section for comparison. Of the areas covered since summer, the raccoons and crows have not been tearing the lawn apart this year, and as an added bonus, it has reduced mole activity to just the area which wasn't treated. As the product took care of the grubs, the moles moved on as their food source was removed. I wish I could obtain larger containers of the product due to the size of the lawn.

Grubs have been infesting this area for years.. I used it as directed and followed the steps. The grubs seem to be gone which is fantastic! I found out after that I need to repair my lawn now. Im going to buy this product for my backyard next.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Michaud from Expired product sold with no shame ! This product is advertised by Scott's as a shelf life of 17 month. Some of the bags were dated 2021, some had no date. I pointed out that some of the products were actually outdated and the associate was not even remotely interested and leave all the bags there. I have potty for the poor people who will buy a bag of $68 that is worthless ! The bag I finally decided to purchase was still only a few weeks from expiration date. I was planning to use the same day so it was fine for me but that was still old stock. My best advice to folks out there... Check the date before buying and make sure it's less than 17 months at the time you're planning to apply.

I have more grubs now than I did before. Maybe this product is grub enhancer. I don’t recommend. The only grubs that died were the ones I might have stepped on by accident while applying this product.

It states on packaging recommendation : product should be applied within 17 month of manufacture I believe ?l .I’ve been to multiple stores and product on shelf is over 17 months . This product does not work on my lawn . Could only find product on shelf with production over17 months Skunks are having a field day tearing up my lawn .

Unfortunately, I spent a lot hard earned money and wasted my time with this product that simply did not work. I do not recommend this product to anyone reading this. Simply did not work. I want my money back!

Rated 1 out of 5 by davender from I used this product as in directions. Don't waist your money like I did. Doesn't work and as a matter of fact the grubs seem right at home with this stuff. I live in Vancouver Canada and this is the strongest stuff I can find on the shelves. Why don't they sell the 24hr Grub Killer here like in the US. All these products are a money grab for the companies selling them. The grubs here are tuff little buggers don't die easy. I've tried to be environmentally friendly at first and used nematodes as directed. And it seems to made it worse off. None of this crap works and I'm tired of spending money and time and energy to combat these grubs. looks like I might end up ordering the 24hr grub killer on line. Or I'm thinking next year just start from scratch...get rid of all the top soil down to hardpan. bring in new dirt and sow seed. Anyways that's my rant for this topic.
