My brass end blew off the crimp under normal water pressure. The 500 psi rating seems overstated?

Yes, overstated. Also, worst hose I ever purchased for kinking. Calling this a professional hose is nonsense!

Is the -15º rating in Celsius or Fahrenheit?

Water freezes at 0°C or 32°F - so I don't understand the concern about a -15° rating. There are no visible indications of a -15° rating on the packaging that I could see. Its a garden hose, so use it when you do gardening!

When i used them at the beginning of this year, the ends popped out of the hose on two of the three. I exchanged all three thinking that they might be from different runs, knowing that they were different years. The end popped out of one of them again so I took them beck and got my money back. They at not made by Scotts, but are just a licence to use the name. Try to contact anybody from the manufacture and you are out of luck.

Bit pricey, but way better than buying a new hose every summer. It's light, very flexible, and very rarely kinks (easily unkinked). I've tried numerous hoses over the years. I haven't tried ALL of them, of course, but I love this one, and want to buy another 50 feet now that I know it's great!

Best part is the easy connect/disconnect of one hose to another. The “handle” that fits overtop of the fitting has come off which is a bit disappointing but a little glue should fix it
