Rated 1 out of 5 by Cherry68 from Doesn’t work any more Previous “Weed b gone” concentrate worked magic but MAX is waste of time and money. Not only the concentration of active ingredient is a half of what it used to be in original version, but even if using less water then recommended on the label doesn’t work.The recommended ratio was 125 ml per 1 L of water (1 L of concentrate per 8L of water). I mixed 1L of concentrate with 4 L of water and 24 hours after applying the product my weed is as green as before. Small weed, way smaller than 15 cm. Such a disappointment. Waste of time and money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Used to like Weed B Gon from The old hocus-pocus Scott's downgraded the product (less than half the concentration of the active ingredient it used to have, and what's more the instructions say to mix three times as much of it in water), but raised the price -- and HAS THE AUDACITY TO CALL IT "MAX". How often do you see this? A perfectly good product is re-formulated, comes out worse than before, and the manufacturer diverts your attention by calling it "New! Improved!"

Rated 1 out of 5 by Hidden shrinking value from 1/2 the product, twice the price "MAX" concentrate now has 1/2 the active ingredient (iron) for a similar price vs the previous non-MAX which is no longer available. Why is it called MAX now? There's no indication that the formulation is any different or any better. It's just twice the price. Very disappointed.

Mixed as per instructions 125ml to 1 litre. Dandelions haven’t wilted or anything. Old product after 2-3 hrs dandelions wilted. What happened to your product please

Rated 1 out of 5 by Gordbgone from Bring back the original please. I’ve used the original Weed b Gone concentrate for years with great results. Killed all my weeds within a day or two and didn’t harm the grass. All my neighbors would ask what I use. When it was time to stock up all I could find was this new “Max”. I figured it must be new and improved. I was wrong. It is garbage. It does nothing to the weeds, even with multiple applications, and leaves dead patches on my lawn. After doing some online reading of the latest reviews I saw that Scott’s had changed the main ingredients. Shouldn’t have tried to fix something that wasn’t broken. Bring back the old original Weed b Gone. I wish I had my receipt for a refund. Now I have to find a new weed killer brand that works.

However, fairly good success when using at least 200 ml of concentrate to the one litre of water INSTEAD of the 125 ml that the company recommends. As well, even with the increased ratio, I have to reapply within 1 or two days in order to get the desired effect. Too costly for what is offered.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Raw1 from Poor results I purchased this last fall but did not get to use it till two weeks ago. I sprayed three times. (Approx 30’ x 75’) the complete container with less than poor results. I just wanted to let you know and caution others.
