Is the cushion of the swing and the canopy waterproof?

I store all of the cushions and canopy indoors (shed) when not in use. The canopy will dry, but may also fly away in windy / rainy weather; the cushions will take days to dry if they become saturated.

Is it possible to omit the canopy during installation? I'm planning on using it in a shady spot.

I don't use the canopy because it's installed on a deck under a gazebo. Doesn't effect the overall strength at all

Has anyone found a cover that fits over this? Seems quite a bit wider than standard covers, thanks!

search "3-seater patio canopy cover-durable and water resistant" and look at the images for one that is beige on top with a brown trim on bottom. This one fits since I use it on this patio swing and you can check the dimensions on line as well.

Can the canopy be taken on and off easily when the winds are high.

My kids are living the food down feature. The mattress is a bit thin, so we ordered 2 foam inserts from amazon that are the perfect width and we had to cut the length slightly, however the mattress is zippers, so we were easily able to slide the foam in each side to beef them up a bit and now it’s perfect! I love that the mattress lays on the frame and Velcro’s in so it is completely removable during winter or even rain. This is THE perfect addition to our deck and we couldn’t be happier. Hint- we cut a pool noodle and placed it on the back so it would not hit and damage our deck railing

Overall quality is very good. Has a solid structure. Well made cushions, the base cushion has zippers so you could take it off and wash it, they are comfortable. The futon feature is a plus, comfortable to lay on as their is no bar running down the middle. Makes for a great addition to any backyard. Think my dog loves it more than I do.

Assembly took about an hour ( if you're mechanically inclined, a little longer otherwise). Only complaint would be that the top is a little hard to get on, but a little muscle and you're good :) Excellent value for your money....I researched swings extensively ( like I do with most things) and kept coming back to this one. It fit the budget and is well made.

After sitting in it for a few hours (regular size people, not overweight) the seat cushions are completely sagging and look terrible!! I am so disappointed because it is literally hours old and it already looks well worn. The cushions are not robust enough, very flimsy. I would not recommend.

Material on Top started to stretch out after the first rain. Stay away from this one, unless you’re planning on updating it yourself. Frame is okay.

It’s wide enough for 2-3 people, but my preference is sitting lengthwise with my feet up enjoying a coffee and a book! My tall teen has folded it flat end taken an afternoon nap!
