Rated 1 out of 5 by Meg McHugh from Do not recommend If you need this rod to extend to the 110-120 range it looks terrible; the middle pole is far too thin and gives the rod an unstable, flimsy look and feel. If this is marketed as a rod that extends 66-120 inches, you should be able to use it at all lengths comfortably. I am not happy with this purchase.

I think there could be another bracket in the middle, as when the rod is fully extended it could start to sag, but as long as your curtains aren't super heavy, you shouldn't have a problem. The colour was great too! Doesn't look too shiny or cheap.

The quality is good, although it does scratch very easily. The second one I used for my patio doors which are not as wide as my living room windows so I ended up not using the middle extension rod which means that one side of the rod is smaller. It’s not very noticeable but in retrospect it would have been ideal to purchase the smaller size because of that.

We did need an extra support but understandable since pushing the limits. Their curtains are great quality and the price can not be beat. Compare to $150 WE. Can take a long time for shipping but worth the wait. I’m super happy! And have ordered more items since purchasing this curtain rod. You won’t be disappointed. Customer service is also very helpful!

Simple to install, delivery was quick and the black finish is modern. Screws are better quality. Ordered two rods and several sets of rings. Rings are pricy! Bought one pack of 7 rings per curtain panel so two packs for a pair of curtains. Rings are not what are shown in the company pictures and vary slightly. Wish the company would update their stock photo to represent actual product selling. Overall a good purchase.

Very well made. Very sturdy and looks very sleek! Very heavy duty and I think will last a long time. I think it would look good with any color decor and any color curtain.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Clara from Cappa Curtain Rod - pros and cons I ordered the Umbra "Cappa" curtain rod size 66-120" with 1" diameter to go above my patio doors. Pros: I like the black (which is neither matte nor shiny, somewhere in between) and the finials which are minimalist. Good quality for price. Cons: The rod, which is extendable, comes in three pieces (the previous rod I had came in two pieces and so I had not expected this). So, this means two places where we had to tape around the 2 rods (which slide over an inner rod) so that the curtain rings would slide over the joins. We used transparent tape, but still.. Also, despite the three rod brackets the rod looked slightly bowed in the middle which my husband fixed by using more tape. So here we have a nice sleek modern black curtain rod all taped up. Aesthetic ruined :(

As soon as I opened the package I could tell the quality was fantastic. They went up very easily and the overall look is awesome. They came with all the appropriate hardware. I would highly recommend these.

I have ordered this curtain rod in the past and loved it, but it looks like they changed the type of anchors included and they do not work at all. Now I am going to have to patch the hole it made in our wall and rehang with new anchors. I will not be buying this curtain rod again.

You receive all the screws & also the plastic screw looking things to keep the screws in place in case you don't get them nailed in a stud. The only tiny problem is that the screws that you manually put in to keep the rods from sliding back & fourth when you open or close the curtains can scratch easily, so don't put those in until the end. I scratched my rod but because you'll have curtains on the rod, they won't show up .

Hard to fit the curtain panels I own on it. It's also very heavy. I do like that its strong and not flimsy but I dont like how bulky it looks in my windows and tiny house. If strong is what you are going for then this curtain rod may be a great fit. Otherwise make sure measurements are what you are looking for.

Unless it depends on the finish you order maybe. I ordered nickel finish and it did not scratch at all. Very durable. There are little screws that go in the bracket holes to keep the rod secure once its up. If you tried to leave them in during installation you may scratch the rod but for common sense hanging with nickel finish was no scratch issues. Price was awesome too.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LarD from Installation issue. The brackets are closed circle, as opposed to a u shaped open bracket. Therefore after you install the brackets you must slide the rod through the closed brackets as opposed to just laying the rod into the brackets.

Where it extends there is also a rough piece of plastic that catches my curtains when they are pulled open and closed and is already causing them damage with only a few uses. Also the wall anchors were poor quality, we ended up using our own after they already caused significant damage on installation. We are not new to hanging curtains, very unhappy with the quality.

Stunning to say the least, and a beautiful piece to any room. It was very easy to install and expand/shorten to the length of your window. I also purchased the brackets that came are offered on the site and I'm super impressed with the final look. Definitely less expensive than other stores, but has the 'look' of an expensive well built rod!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bunny from Sleek, minimal and sturdy! Love the black curtain rods, they are so sleek and minimal and a perfect addition to both my bedroom and living room! Both rooms needed rods which are over 120 inches which was hard to find anywhere else. They were easy to install, since these were long curtain rods, they came with 3 brackets which I appreciated because previously we had a long curtain rod with only 2 standard brackets which caused quite an obvious bend in the rod and it also pulled the brackets off the walls so they were half hanging. I'm hoping with these 3 brackets we won't face that issue, but it seems quite sturdy so far. The only painful part of the installation was measuring all 3 brackets from the ceiling and making sure they are symmetric to the window, but we'd have to do that prep with any curtain rod! All in one, pretty solid and I love the look!

My husband is in his 70s and had no problem hanging them, with my supervision, of course :) It took us very little time and the results were great. We are presently looking at a condo and plan on ordering some more when we move in. A great choice for anyone!
