Rated 3 out of 5 by Osprey1 from Unavailable missing part I just purchased 2 of these fans from Lowes. After removing from the box saw that the rear rubber foot was missing from one of the fans. I called the customer service number and was told the original manufacturer provided NO spare parts to Lowes. I was told to return the fan to the store for an exchange or take receipt back to store and have them remove foot from another fan. This way then next buyer gets a fan missing a foot. This fan is very directional with narrow air path, so if you need a wide area covered you should buy the oscillating floor fan instead. Other than that, the quality of the fan seems OK. If you need a product(s) with spare parts available, this is not it.

My Initial impressions: * Looks to be really well constructed. * Very cool feature — blade oscillates while unit doesn’t move * Can lock in an angle; Lots of air flow * Very quiet for its amt of power * Comes with mounting screws to use as a wall fan * Nice- looking matte black finish * Manual includes parts list for easy replacements Finally — I appreciate that it has mounts to wrap the cord, easy to pack up & carry, neatly stored.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Mike from Very powerful fan. Had this fan for about 4 months. Worked great. Moves a lot of air. But it quit after 4 months. It just hums and doesn't spin. Planning on bringing it back for warranty...hopefully!!

I'm looking now for a second fan and the reviews are atrocious!...well, I'm going by my experience and will purchase another because it's been a great fan for me!

We face the direction of the sun so we're cooked like bugs as soon as the sun rises from the time it goes down. Recently moved in with family and took it with me, and they all want one of their own for their room. Amazing fan and will last years, really good quality. You can point it waaaay up or just keep it level. Handle for easy carrying from room the room. Deep loud white noise for sleeping. I've never needed to put the speed above the lowest, it's so powerful. Love it love it love it. And the orbital oscillation is amaaaaazing. Best fan I've ever owned and probably ever will

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dave from Powerful Fan [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 18 inch fan is powerful and produces a good amount of air for a floor fan, I like the oscillation feature to help distribute the air flow. Fan is quiet and having three speeds available is a good feature. It is cool season now so fan will not be used much until warmer weather returns. Will update review when fan will be used on a more constant basis. I have purchased “Utiliitech” products in the past and I hope this fan will last as long as those items have.
