Smoke and odours disappear fast through the superior design of its Captur technology. With an automatic sensor, this HVI-certified unit switches on if the surrounding area has excessive heat buildup. Choose among three fan strengths with this 650 CFM unit's rocker switch. This stainless steel range hood resists corrosion for simple maintenance. See your cooktop clearly when you turn on the three-intensity LED lights of this range hood. It converts four ways (non-ducted set-up requires HPF30 charcoal filter, available separately) to adjust to your kitchen layout. Rated 1 out of 5 by Sara B from Broke after 3 months I got it installed and it broke not even after 3 months. I called the company and they sent someone to repair it, but shortly after it started again making a weird noise, so we would not use it to the maximum level. And yesterday it broke AGAIN even if we just used it at the 2nd speed (up to a max of 3)... So disappointed with this purchase. I hoped that the high price would reflect a quality product, but it's not the case. This was my first Venmar product purchase and will be my very last for sure. One of my friends who also got this fan had the same exact problem I did. I wonder why the company simply doesn't recall the product and offer a free replacement if it's a known problem. I renamed this company "Venmarde" when I tell my family and friends about what happened and I strongly encourage them to stay away from any Venmar product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by KC H from Bad products. Don't buy! I bought this product last year and the fans have broken twice. There is no way that the highest speed of ventilation could sustain. The repairing service from Venmar's contractor is not promising either. The down time of this product is significant considering it was brand new. Don't buy it. You will regret soon enough.

Nous avons une cuisinière au gaz et quand la hotte reçoit trop de chaleur elle se mets en mode protection et diminue la vitesse des ventilateurs . Puis plus le moyen de l'arrēter. Pas moyen de faire cuire un steak sans enboucaner la maison et faire partir les avertisseurs de fumée. C'est la première fois que je vois ça une hotte qui se ralenti elle même quand nous en avons le plus besoin.

Fans were replaced twice with a guarantee that these are good quality fans but they broke again. Venmar refunded me for product but I had to pay installation and de-installation charges twice from pocket.

When I did, there was a loud rattling. Thought a nut had fallen into the blades. Opened it up and found the blower ring was severely cracked on top. Called Venmar, who were very responsive and scheduled a service call. 1-star product but 5-star customer service. I am however concerned with it happening again and agian as other review suggest
