Rated 1 out of 5 by LittleGram from Terrible Grill Cover I bought this grill cover in May of this year. It is not at all like the older one I used for many years, the heavy duty lined plastic. This cover is flimsy and flyaway. It is secured with velcro that when the wind blows, the velcro becomes undone and the cover flies off the grill. I literally have to chase it all over the yard. It recently snowed and as the snow melted, it made a well near the handle of the grill and collected all the water. It certainly is not worth the money I paid for it. I would never purchase this grill cover again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Michigan grill master from cheap, flimsy grill cover I recently purchased a premium grill cover for my Weber Spirit grill and I realized I should not have wasted my money. As I opened the package today I was hoping it was like the original cover that I purchased with our Weber grill when it was brand new. The original cover was heavy duty vinyl with a fabric lining and lasted for many years. Unfortunately the new cover that I just received is very similar to an off brand cover that I had purchased last year at the end of the season. That one lasted only a few months before ripping because it was so light-weight. Why did Weber change their design? They went from heavy duty top quality to a flimsy cheap imitation. Please bring back the original design.

Rated 1 out of 5 by em54 from What happened?? My family has ALWAYS used Webers!!! Since my Dad bought the kettle in the 70s ...After retiring our Weber from the mid 90s...We bought a 3 burner Spirit. Buying a quality grill deserves a quality cover to preserve it. Right? I'm sorry...but, spending that kind of money on a cover is a total failure! It fit nicely...but, trying to connect the velcro closures properly is ridiculous! For Pete's sake! When someone comes up with a new idea to 'improve' production....don't just nod your heads yes. I am returning the cover. Hopefully I can find something that will work better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by KimS from Terrible product I highly recommend that Weber works on the design of their covers. This one is completely useless. I velcroed that sucker on as tight as I could and when I came home from a weekend away it was gone. My guess is someone sneezed next door & it blew off. Never to be seen again. Huge waste of money. Would love to protect my husband’s engagement gift but it’s not possible with this Weber grill cover.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Weber Fan? from Worst Weber product I have ever owned I have owned Weber products since 1973 (my first Weber grill had Patent Pending on it). All have been great up to now. This cover for the Spirit II 300 has several problems. It is very light weight so it blows off the grill in moderate winds even with the velcro closures. One of the larger velcro closures wore out in 15 months. There is no small bag for storage of the cover. I owned the previous model cover for the Spirit II 300. It was heavier, relied on string to secure it, and had a small bag attached which was great for storing the cover.

Rated 1 out of 5 by adoptadog from Waste of money for this cover. 1st cover fell apart after a few months, 2nd cover (free replacement from Weber) now has the same problem and has cracks all over it. You would think after years of bad reviews and unhappy customers someone would take notice and start making covers (and grills for that...) like weber used to. Having defective covers has let in the elements and now my frame is rotting away. another year or 2 and my grill will end up in the scrap pile. Really sad to see the king of the grilling world waste away to cheaper standards.

I have had this cover for a little over two years and the material is still in great shape and the logo even still looks like new and it sits out in the weather all year in Michigan. But the velcro retaining tabs have lost their "hookiness?" are now useless and the cover blows off every time the wind blows (which is often in michigan). It's so frustrating to buy a quality product with quality materials only to have it made nearly useless by using cheap velcro. Now i have to resort to trying to strap it down or stick some aftermarket velcro on it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Thistle305 from I have had a Weber Genesis Silver BBQ with cover for over 20yrs. The cover is now very worn but it has had hot summers and cold Wisconsin winters. Granted it is under an awning but the thick quality material is durable. This new cover for my new Spirit at my second home in Texas is garbage. No better than others you can order from China that cost half as much. I was so impressed with my new Weber Spirit BBQ and remarked to my wife "finally a U.S. company (Weber) that continues to make a quality product that is the very best in the world". No so with the cover. Paper thin that won't last....not up to Weber standards and does not deserve the brand!
