Rated 5 out of 5 by italianlancer.08 from Easy Setup and Use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grill is really fun and useful. It uses the little 1lb green propane cans. It’s easy to set up: simply insert the axle, add the wheels and pins, then open the grill using piston assisted opener. From the time I opened the box to the time I had it useable was approx. 5 mins. It lies flat and rolls easily. After you attach the propane tank, it has a nice assisted lighting device to get things going. It heats up nicely and evenly too. The only con is it’s kind of heavy. The shipping label said 60 lbs but I think it’s more like 50. Either way, it’s great that it has wheels because I wouldn’t want to carry it for long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RCOJr from Very nice, very portable, well made Well designed, folds up easily, and has a big-enough cooking area for an easily portable grill. Note that the lid is quite flat for folding-up and transport reasons. So while you can easily cook steaks, fish, veggies, etc., you would not be able to cook a whole chicken with the lid closed unless you spatchcock it. Note also that if you use a connector hose to attach a full size LP tank as we do, you need to press the end of the hose firmly all the way into the receptacle on the grill before hand-tightening the hose end. (And per the instructions, wait one minute after turning on the gas before starting the grill.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ed young from A Homerun, Love it!! I absolutely love this Grill! I'm coming from a old Weber q200 original. I passed that down to my brother inlaw, the Traveler is fantastic! Well built and super easy to set up and break down. It heats up and comes up to temperature fast!! Its super easy maneuverable, I've cooked up burgers, dogs, steak tips, Italian sausages for subs. I also purchased there Weber cast iron (big round) skillet thats fits perfectly (you can close the lid of the grill with it) and did eggs breakfast sausage and english muffins. All came out awesome. Weber hit a homerun with this portable grill! Well worth the price for me!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by David in Katy TX from Great portable grill This is a great grill! It has a very large cooking surface that can handle large meals for groups and gatherings. It can get very hot to sear steaks properly. It folds and wheels easily. My only complaint is that it is very heavy, a trade off for it’s large cooking area, which makes it difficult to lift in and out of a trunk or truck bed. It only runs on small portable propane cylinders. It would be nice if weber designed it to run off the large propane tanks on our travel trailer. Even with these drawbacks, I highly recommend the grill if you want one that is portable with large capacity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mark Russell from Traveler is great for our RV! Having moved full time in our RV we needed something smaller and more compact than our Genesis II. Not having my Weber Genesis was the hardest part of moving to this lifestyle. We had looked at other brands that were similar to the Traveler but I am a diehard Weber fan and love the quality. When I saw the Traveler online I knew it would be the perfect answer. I have not been disappointed. It works great and I have plenty of grilling space. Very happy. Oh and sold the Genesis for enough to pay for the Traveler!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mimbo from Good Picnic and Camp Addition This grill is everything it is advertised to be, and is a bit larger than I expected - which is excellent if you're preparing food for more than a couple of people. The grill itself is outstanding, and the engineering that went into the folding legs and lid lock are really good. I diminish the rating a bit because the accessories (optional griddle and prep table top) are a bit cumbersome to store and carry around. The grill also has an optional storage / protection bag (which is more appropriately a "wrapper") that makes transport a bit easier. Given its size, this grill is more conveniently carried in in a larger hatchback vehicle or pickup bed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anne from Maine from Perfect for retirees and small porches. We just downsized to a condo and bought this traveler grill to go on our back deck. It has surpassed our expectations. As retirees we can easily move this around and put it away if need be. Over 45 years, we have owned (and worn out) two other BIG Weber grills, but since downsizing and having no place to put and store a big grill, we gambled on this we love it. Our neighbors and children are admiring its style and convenience. It couldn’t have been easier to put into our car and to transport to our deck. Starting it up is a breeze. It’s ingenious. Wish I had a proper cover to place over it, but if we need to get it out of the elements we simply wheel it inside our porch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Terence from Great grill but beware the latch! Love this grill. It's semi portable and folds up nicely. The hydraulic to dampen while flattening is a nice touch. It gives it a premium feeling. It gets plenty hot and can use large Propane tanks with the appropriate adapter. However we've been experiencing issues with the latch from day one. The latch failed while I rolled it to the counter to purchase it. i thought maybe it was user error but it continue to happen while moving it around. The hood when closed is supposed to keep the grill grates in place, but when the latch fails the grates fall out and dents the hood from the inside. I hope they can fix this issue on an otherwise awesome grill.
