Description

This SmartCode 10 electronic lock from Weiser can be locked or unlocked by using the keypad or key from the outside, as well as the turn button from the inside. The crisp, clean appearance of the Satin Nickel finish adds to the overall look of the product and brings a modern feel. Featuring SmartKey® technology, you can re-key the lock yourself in seconds in 3 easy steps, which means you can change the key that currently operates the lock for a new key. The keypad is backlit for increased visibility in the dark and turns off after 30 seconds of inactivity. In addition, a customized automatic door locking after 30 seconds will give you peace of mind as you never have to wonder if you forgot to lock your door. This lock includes 16 user access codes and 1 master code option, as well as 2 keys. It is easy to install and fits most standard residential doors. Requires 4 x AA batteries (sold separately).

My newly installed Weiser Smartcode 10 does not automatically lock after 30 seconds. Any suggestions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by No Fool like an old fool from Incredible Customer Service from Weiser. Incredible customer service from Weiser!! Bought two smartcode 10 with keypads. Installed one very simply and it worked perfectly. Installed the second and it would not complete the "handing" operation. I called Weiser's help line and had a technician patiently go through some diagnostics. Still wouldn't work, so she had me remove one of the screws used to mount the interior part of the lock. Turns out I used the wrong screw and had damaged the motor. She immediately sent me an email instructing me how to request a "warranty" replacement. I went online filled out a simple form and attached some pictures. Less than a week later I received a new lock, no charge! So even though installation is almost fool proof, this fool was able to screw it up, but Weiser took care of me anyway.

Je n’ai plus jamais été capable de rentrer mes codes de nouveau. Et j’ai essayé pendant quatre heures!

Elle a été installée par un connaisseur pourtant et j’ai payé assez cher justement pour avoir de la qualité. J’ai la facture et je la retourne.
