Hi DGDG, thank you for your question. WRB329RFBM does not offer water dispensing function however an optional icemaker is available to be installed in the freezer; model IC13B and this model is Energy Star Qualified. I hope this helps, have a great day!

Yes, there are two versions. I know because I ended up ordering the wrong one, thinking that the handle and hinges could be switched to either side. They can't!

Rated 4 out of 5 by PM89 from Good low cost refrigerator WRB329LFBM. Received the fridge yesterday, and let run overnight to cool down before transferring from my 25 year old Hotpoint. I needn't have bothered, as it cools rapidly, and I used to time to adjust the temperature controls. Quiet operation - makes less noise than my old one. The only bad note, would be the user's manual, printed on newsprint, and LOADED with information on other models. What describes this particular model, could be dealt with in 4 pages, Two whole pages on the water filter, when this version doesn't have one. Not one word on power usage, other than the generic EnerGuide and no UL/ULc, ETI, or CSA listing anywhere on or in the cabinet.

Whirlpool sent over somebody within three days and he said that nobody in our area would be able to fix our fridge. Whirlpool was informed of this, but they continued to search for somebody. We have now been without a fridge for over two weeks and were informed that we have to wait another 7-10 business days just to hear from the team regarding getting a replacement fridge. We are very disappointed as we trusted that our brand new fridge would work longer than three months and this is a long time to be without a fridge especially for a family of five!

Our household is comprised of me and my 3 year old son. As such, I am the only one cleaning. I have only ever used a mild dish detergent and warm water to clean the fridge. After less than two months, the finish on the fridge and freezer doors is significantly discoloured. The fridge looks aweful, especially in our new kitchen. On a positive note, the fridge functions well.

We had a bottom mount freezer previously with a swing door. This one has a drawer, and let me tell you that you will just love this drawer. Everything stays organized and it seems to hold more with the way it is designed. No crouching like I did previously. Upper fridge cabinet is great because you can move around the shelves and drawers to your own liking. My only complaint would be that the crisper drawers do not glide smoothly. I just hope that I can get many years out of this fridge.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mvand from Very disappointed with warranty After about 6 months the fridge door started to develop a crease about a foot long that is becoming a lot more noticeable with time . The crease lines up perfectly with the divider on the inside of the door that runs from top to bottom . My guess without taking the door apart is that the front door panel is attached to the inner panel in this area and over time opening and closing the door it is creating a visible crease on the front panel. Called whirlpool 4 times and talked to manager on the last call. The end result is that any cosmetic defects must be reported within the first 30 days. The problem is this isn’t a cosmetic issue from shipping it’s a cosmetic issue caused by a manufacturing or design fault that took 6 months to show up and whirlpool will not cover it at all . This leaves a pretty bad taste in the mouth of someone who has always bought Whirlpool and Matag products.

Both excellent products, I went with Whirlpool as I find the quality great, it was the perfect size, great looking, works fabulous, temperatures are even and nice and cool,keeping everything in top and bottom fresh, & frozen perfectly, no freezer burn, Nice and roomy, It looks great, my friends have come over and notice my new fridge right away, making me even more proud of my home..,I am very happy with my purchase!

It doesn’t have an ice maker, or other features, which to us are just more things to go wrong. The interior layout is flexible, and can be adjusted to fit ones bottles. The only quibble is that the sliding drawers for fruit, vegetables and such seem rather cheap, and do not slide very smoothly. We had to adjust the pre-set temperatures for the fridge and freezer, as they were working a little too well, but the adjustment was simple.
