30" Electric Wall Oven - 5.0 cu. ft. - Stainless is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 780.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very noisy and slow to heat The oven style is very sleek and stylish and easy to use but that is where my praises end. It takes FOREVER to heat up and because the heating element is only on the top you can't put anything in the oven before it reaches the desired temperature unless you want it broiled. It is also very noisy. The fan runs the entire time while baking and it takes equally long to cool down (with the fan running the whole time during cool-down as well). The steam clean option sounds like a good idea, but it doesn't work well and is a waste of electricity because you will still need to use the full-fledged cleaning cycle to get it clean.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from VERY DISAPPOINTED IN WHIRLPOOL We have always bought whirlpool products and been very happy with them... We were redoing the kitchen and purchased all stainless steel appliances from whirlpool - including the single stainless steel wall oven. We were very unhappy with this product. The fan starts running from the moment you turn it on and it is very loud. I feel like I am in a "wind tunnel"...it continues all the time the oven is on and can even be heard in the living room. The whirlpool technician was here...and said...."that is just the way it is". We are having it removed and spending the extra for the Bosch oven. I also felt the inside temp. were low...the few things I cooked with the noise had to remain longer to be finished. We do not recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Noisy oven with whirling sound This oven has a variable fan on it. As soon as the unit is turned on the low speed fan comes on. It has a very low sound. But as soon as the temperature gets above 250 degrees, the variable speed fan comes on and sounds like the wind blowing through a window. It is very noisy and the fan constantly fluctuates up and down. We had the whirlpool technician come and listen to it. He replaced the fan. The next time we turned the oven on, the sound was the same. The technician came out a second time. He listened to the fluctuating sound. He called technical support and asked for a solution. They told him it was normal for the fan to fluctuate. We are taking the unit back to the store and getting another oven because the high pitched fluctuating fan sound is unacceptable for us. The sound of the fan going up and down is an irritation. Do not buy this oven.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Noisy! This oven came with my brand new home. From the time you turn it on until about 45 minutes after you turn it off, there is a constant whirling noise - it sounds like wind whistling through a door or window. It's so annoying. I am contacting Lowes to see if I can return it and buy a GE Profile range. My builder only spent about 900 on this oven and I guess you get what you pay for. The GE Profile is about $2400 but at least it will be quiet!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Baking Replaced an oven in a house just purchased and have been impressed so far. It looks very modern, very easy to figure out how to use without reading all of the manual. My only complaint has been it takes longer to heat up than I thought it would, but I haven't really timed it yet, so maybe it's not as long as it seems. Nice features and easy to use, haven't used the cleaning feature yet, but hoping it will work well also. Has cooked several items evenly and in the time it should normally take for them to cook.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Whirlpool does not stand behind warranty!!! Oven burned out at 14 months old twice,Whirlpool repaired first time, then same electronic part failed 30 days later and they said too bad, would not repair again!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very loud fan, inconsistent temperatures We bought this oven 4 months ago and if we hadn't paid so much for the installation, I would return it. It is very, very loud and not just while it is preheating. The fan runs continuously during cooking and for up to an hour after it is turned off! I read reviews about it being loud, but I though, "How loud can a fan be?"Let me tell you, it is very annoying to listen to it run during your entire dinner after you have used it. Everyone comments on it. We though it was broken at first, because we thought it wasn't turning off, but the company said it's normal. Hmmmm. They also told us that oven thermometers are "unable to keep up with the fluctuating temperature changes and are notoriously unreliable", so I should ignore the fact that my trusty oven thermometer showed a different temperature than the oven display temperature. Again, hmmmmm. I find it hard to believe that this oven is supposed to be an upgrade in technology from my 25 year old oven, which was completely silent, baked perfectly and always showed the same temperature reading on the display as my oven thermometer. Definitely NOT progress if you ask me!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fine oven if you do not like to bake Meats vegetables are fine. The oven thermostat dings at 8 minutes to say it has reached its temperature. After 5 technicians have measured it in 3 months, I now know, at 8 minutes it is internally 220-230 degrees. Most of my recipes require a 400 oven. To get that I have to set a timer for 20 minutes and then check the temperature even though the manual says not to use an oven thermometer. Since the oven does not provide an accurate reading of its temperature, what choice is there? Very misleading and poorly engineered.
