Wire Cover - .75'' x .65'' x 5' - White is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Learn before you leap [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this product for years without a single complaint. I re-wired a 100 year old house that has wire and plaster inside walls and brick outside. Because the second floor was concerned with hard wood it was not possible to get into the walls without major repairs. I used wiremold inside making it part of the room molding and shallow boxes throughout. The wire old was painted to match either the trim or the wall. Worked perfectly. I have just started an 85 year old commercial building using wire old inside. Inspector loves it. Just learn how to use it before you try it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy Metal Cord Cover I installed an exhaust fan in our utility room that left a cord dangling down the wall to an outlet. The cord is the size and shape as a heavy duty (round) extension cord. My installation of this item was simple, as I just needed to cover from the ceiling to behind the washer/dryer. I used double stick tape to affix it to the wall. Be advised that this item does not come with mounting hardware of any kind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't Be Confused One previous reviewer wrote that getting the wire through the channel was difficult, and another wrote that the plug had to be removed to get the electrical extension cord through the channel. I've used these in several places, and I remove the bottom of the Wiremold, set the cable in the channel, and slide the bottom back into place. To remove the bottom of the Wiremold, first remove the clip device that is installed on one end. I do this in about 30-45 seconds working alone, but it would be faster with two persons. I remove the clip with a screwdriver and a small hammer. I put the screwdriver blade against the clip and tap the screwdriver with a hammer. Once the clip is out, the bottom can be easily removed. To put the bottom back (after setting the wire in the channel) I slightly file the corners of the bottom piece and spray it with dry lubricant. After doing that, I can slide the bottom piece in and out with two fingers. If you need to join two units, you will need to put the clip back into place. That is easy with a small hammer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from hides wires very well have wires running past door sills easy to trip on put the wires in the cord cover and put it next to the sill plate, no more snaging wires when walking did not fasten to floor but it works fine. remember though it's 5 ft long and I did not want to cur it but it worked out fine

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Short runs good. Long runs bad I tried this system. I wanted to add some outlets and 2 lights in the garage. I would not use this for long runs of wire. The channel is very narrow and it is difficult to pull the wire without doing damage to the wire. Especially if you have to turn a corner. I torn this out and will use something else. If your doing a short runs then this would be good.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Scary what people use this for... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is great for people who have no idea what they are doing and should hire a licenced electrician and for those situations where fishing the wall is impossible and emt would look bad.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from lacks only one flaw This product works great for what it is intended for; however, it would be nice if the bottom of the conduit would slide out so that one could fit a larger extension cord inside. As it is, I will have to cut the end of the cord and re-wire the outlet plug in order to use on my outdoor patio.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wiremold 700 My sons Dog, got hold of the satellite cable and pulled it off the fence and out of the ground! It had been attached to the fence with screws and clamps. I used the Wiremold 700 to enclose the cable and keep the dog from grabbing it in his teeth. It works perfectly, allowing me to enclose the cable all the way from the dish, to below grade level!
