Wire Cover Kit for Floor - 2.5'' x 5' - Ivory is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 36.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cheapest here OK value for money. Cheapest I could find around. Not sure why these are so expensive. Wish it was a more standard size like 2 meters instead of 5 feet but it worked for my use. One hack that you can use for carpet is instead of using the supplied double stick tape is to use adhesive backed velcro (the rough "hook" side). Glue the velcro to the cord cover and the velcro will hold it to the carpet better and longer than any tape could. Also to make it flat out of the box use a heat gun (low heat) or blow dryer (high heat) to get it to settle fast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cord Cover Product description says, "7-1/4-in" but it is only about 2-1/2 inches wide. Saw comments online that the cord cover is difficult to straighten out because it comes tightly coiled in a box. I solved that by laying the cover in the sun with a brick on each end for about an hour. After that, the cover was completely flat and easy to work with.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Best to try to install when you have some time I bought this product (2, actually) to hide some cords at a tradeshow. Good/excelent product, but, since it comes rolled up, takes DAYS to actually lie flat on the floor, even with the tape included. Once installed, the ends stayed constantly up in the air. If I'd known, I would have bought them a week in advance, then placed weight of some kind to flatten them. Good product, but extremely frustrating to use. Next time, I'll know to buy them further in advance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Requires heat to flatten [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I feel it is too expensive for what it is. However, it does it’s job and serves it’s purpose. My package did not appear to include the double stick tape that others have mentioned, but fortunately I did not need it. The cord protector is tightly coiled in the box and retains its shape when you unpack it. Here in Southern California, I stretched it out as flat as I could and laid it in the direct summer sun in my driveway. When I checked a half hour later it was flat and pliable. From that point on it was easy to cut to desired length and install. In colder climates you might need a heat gun or hold it in front of a space heater for a few minutes to relax the curl.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Darn thing remembers it was shipped curled up. It is exactly what I wanted, and will be once I can take the two huge books off of it and it will lie down flat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from wiremold cord cover I wanted to cover a power recliner cord, floor lamp cord, and laptop power cord from tripping hazard. The store only had these in 5-foot sections. I bought 2 5-foot covers and cut one in half. It almost does what I want. They do cover the cords but they keep curling up and flipping over. They come with double sided tape to hold them down but I was afraid to use the tape on my wood floors. I am hoping the covers will flatten out with time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wiremold won't lay flat. Bought this for a home office. Mproduct was coiled tightly in its packaging. As a result, it would not lie flat when installed. Also, the wire channel really only holds one cord, so if you have power, internet cable and other cords (e.g. Speaker wires), it is very difficult to get the chords in the strip and they tend to pop back out. Overall, disappointing result.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money 1. This product will only hold two small extension cords. 2. This product, even after coiling backwards and applying weight to the ends for several days, would not lay flat. 3rd, and worst of all, after 3 months, the adhesive on the cover side of the carrier tape not the floor side, turned to a sticky mess allowing the cover to slide all over the place smearing the sticky goo everywhere. The adhesive carrier strip and adhesive on the laminate floor was bonded extremely well. Since I work with adhesives and plastics, I surmise that the plastic/vinyl and the adhesive are/were not compatible OR the plasticizers (chemicals used in the composition of the vinyl) were not properly cured, causing the reaction. Either way, I have a sticky syrupy mess to clean up.
