Type 1 est un adhésif acrylique traditionnel ininflammable et de qualité professionnelle, conçu pour l'installation de carreaux de céramique et de porcelaine émaillés et non émaillés, sur les murs, les sols et les comptoirs. Pour usage intérieur seulement. Répond ou surpasse les exigences des normes ANSI A136.1, Type 1.

Hi :) no It is just used only as a adhesive. This product works extremely well. You would buy the grout separately i hope that helps Dennis :)

I have 60 Sq feet of backsplash to do. How many will I need of this product?

hi :) 60sqft ? you will have enough in the tub. Use a applicator with 1/8th teeth. I found in the past ; Lowes has a great return policy ( 90 days ) When in doubt ? buy two tubs ; keep your receipt and return the extra tub but you will have enough with one tub of adhesive

Yes I used it for a our backsplash in the kitchen and it worked great ! I did fill any holes left over from stripping off the old tiles and sanded it a bit .

Rated 4 de 5 de Elojo par Great product but not for rush projects I used this product for my shower wall with a 2” x 2” ceramic tile. Product worked as intended, texture and adherence to wall was great but this not your product if you want to complete your tile project in one weekend. As per manufacturer’s manual you need to let it dry for 72 hrs. I will recommend this product if you are not in a rush, you are not an experience person installing tile and you like to take your time to set your tile. The lengthy drying time allows you to work at your own pace and make adjustments on the go if necessary with no rush. Pros: Ready to use, no need to mix. Cons: drying time if you are in a rush.

As long as you tiles and job site reflect the specs on the product label, it's probably the best ready-mixed adhesive available. What I like: Reasonably priced Coverage is as labeled No harmful VOCs, and actually smells pleasant enough Handles like heavy cake frosting, stays exactly where it's troweled No-sag stiffness once applied Works well when patching irregularities before tiling; small holes, even preparing patched sections. Tiles up to 6x6 stay where first put on wall, no sagging Cleanup is easy on tools, tiles and even when you get some on your skin. Good after-use shelf life if empty portion of can filled with a plastic bag full of packing peanuts.

The under flooring was terrible rough, known to flex in areas (worse with smaller tile): so I didn't want a product that cracks or small tile. It set like a tough caulk. It looks and feels solid not hint of any problem after 7 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had about a 45 sq ft backsplash in my kitchen to tile, and decided to go with this, to avoid waste and make clean up easier. I am so glad that I did. The hold is strong, but you have time to work with it. I did this over the course of several days, so I am glad that I could just close the lid and then open it and start again as I was able. Definitely recommend!

The adhesive spread easily and evenly, put up natural stone mosaic tile one morning, didn't check until the next morning, but definitely secured by then.

Rated 5 de 5 de amiele par Keeps tile nice and stuck! I used it for around my raised hearth. It was sticky and held everything in place! I still lightly back buttered all my tiles. I had to use it in a situation where I couldn't put support underneath on the left and right side, so there was about 1/8" slippage/weight fall(?) on those ends. Nothing noticeable, because it is tile that looks like natural brick. 99% of other applications you wont be installing over a gap! It did have a bit of a smell though. (As would any thinset or Mastic) I've only used one other Modified Thinset; Laticrete 254 Platinum for the fireplace face surround itself (because of high heat tolerance). So that's my only comparison! I'm a 30yo woman who was able to use it and tile by myself. First ever tiling project! Price is awesome for how well it works! Grout used was the Laticrete Permacolor in White.

Rated 5 de 5 de Allen par All purpose tile adheasive, must have I keep a bucket of premixed tile adhesive on the job. I do usually mix the thin-set myself but for a quick need and when just a little more will finish the job I use the pre-mixed. This material is good for most types of tiles, backsplash etc. This saves me time and waste.
