Le détecteur de marque BRK(MC) est un détecteur câblé 3-en-1 de 120 V VCA/CC qui combine un avertisseur de fumée et de monoxyde de carbone avec une lumière stroboscopique à 177 cd DEL pour les malentendants dans un boîtier compact. De plus, la lumière clignote différemment pour la détection de fumée et celle du monoxyde de carbone. Comprend une pile au lithium scellé, éliminant ainsi le remplacement de piles. Son capteur photoélectrique de fumée intégré réduit les fausses alarmes liées à la fumée de cuisson ou à la vapeur de la douche. Il utilise également un détecteur électrochimique de monoxyde de carbone pour une précision accrue. Ce produit est couvert par une garantie limitée de 10 ans.

How do I unhook it from the ceiling to replace battery???

You don't replace the battery. It's sealed inside and good for 10 years. You have to replace the unit after that. Just twist it off the ceiling bracket to remove it.

Its AC hard-wired, and has an orange wire interconnect if you want to connect to other units in the house. This means an alarm that is sensed at one of the units will cause all units that are interconnected to beep - handy if you're in an upstairs bedroom and a fire/CO occurs in the basement.

Rated 1 de 5 de alarms4life par Surprise Alarms These were installed in our new home. Within 2 months, we had to replace through the company 4 ALARMS (at different times) due to end-of-life. We didn't get a chirp - we had a full blown fire alarm ring throughout the house with the strobe lights! When you have small children and animals, this makes for an eventful evening. These alarms always happened during the middle of the night too. Fast forward to today. 1 year later, one of the replaced alarms started chirping at 4am. To stop the chirps you have to slide the red tab, which requires you to take the alarm off, which sets ALL the alarms off in the house for a few seconds. Very annoying.

Rated 1 de 5 de NormF par malfunctioned within a year Our contractor installed this model (#7030BSLA with the blinding disorienting strobe light) throughout our home -- seven in total. Within a year it would go off at random times in random locations for several seconds, often triggered by flicking a light switch despite all new electrics in the house. After an extended period of experimenting with removing one at a time from the network, nothing solved the problem until we replaced all seven with model #SC7010BVA from Lowe's. We stayed with First Alert/BK brand for ease of installation with the same connector system. Finally blessed silence.

Rated 2 de 5 de Khhh par 2 years old and chirping already I had 5 of these pricy units installed by my contractor 2 years ago, because I wanted the best product for my family’s safety. 2 of the units are chirping once or twice every other day. I have vacuumed the sensor and checked for smoke and Co2 with a battery operated detector, and did not find the problem. I tried to change the backup battery but learned that the sealed lithium battery is good for 10 years and cant be changed. My contractor didn't leave me any receipt or warranty so I now have to purchase a bunch of cheaper battery operated units.

Rated 1 de 5 de dan178 par There Should be A Class Action Lawsuit It's truly incredible these can be sold. Had 4 installed in a new house. 2 started beeping BEFORE we moved in. The other 2 started beeping within 3 months. "End of Life, Replace". When you call to warranty, they tell you to clean them, as dust can trigger that. Cleaned with compressed air, reinstalled, just to get on a ladder at 2am and take them down again because we couldn't sleep.

False alarms anytime at night when customers were using the shower (I guess it was related to humidity). Faulty units happening every week. We had to visit every single room (2 storey home) to discover the faulty unit with red light. If the strobe feature is for deaf people, you will need this feature soon. With so many false alarms you will suffer of eardrums rupture very soon.

It’s compatible to Government’s safety guidelines as it includes Strobe light that helps to warn even the impaired persons. I would recommend First Alart(BRK) brand rather than KiDDE’s alarms though. It’s best of it’s kind and also comes 2 in 1 to detect smoke and carbon monoxide too. The only complaint about this device is that, it’s hard to find in the store for some unknown reasons even if they have this in the store, or maybe they need to work on their website little bit? Not sure! So if you need to buy this go when you have enough time to look or ask, i mean not like other stuff go,grab,pay,install,get paid. Hope u get what I mean! Thanks
