Le détecteur de marque BRK(MC) est un détecteur câblé 3-en-1 de 120 V VCA/CC qui combine un avertisseur de fumée et de monoxyde de carbone avec une lumière stroboscopique à 177 cd DEL pour les malentendants dans un boîtier compact. De plus, la lumière clignote différemment pour la détection de fumée et celle du monoxyde de carbone. Comprend une pile au lithium scellé, éliminant ainsi le remplacement de piles. Son capteur photoélectrique de fumée intégré réduit les fausses alarmes liées à la fumée de cuisson ou à la vapeur de la douche. Il utilise également un détecteur électrochimique de monoxyde de carbone pour une précision accrue. Ce produit est couvert par une garantie limitée de 10 ans.

How do I unhook it from the ceiling to replace battery???

You don't replace the battery. It's sealed inside and good for 10 years. You have to replace the unit after that. Just twist it off the ceiling bracket to remove it.

Its AC hard-wired, and has an orange wire interconnect if you want to connect to other units in the house. This means an alarm that is sensed at one of the units will cause all units that are interconnected to beep - handy if you're in an upstairs bedroom and a fire/CO occurs in the basement.

I have spent way too much time looking through the instructions and troubleshooting guide, blowing air, vacuming and doing anything I can to salvage these. I replaced one at $160, but based on helpful comments in other reviews I'm going to try the SC7010BVA model at less than half the price (no strobe, but unless you are completely deaf, this shouldn't be an issue). Don't buy this in the first place if you can avoid it.

I have now removed all of them and looking for replacements from a different company. First alert makes absolute garbage products

Rated 1 de 5 de runmthn par Not Recommend We had a new home built and the builder placed 10 of these alarms in our house - within 6 months we had 4 detectors with 3 chirps to indicate "end of life". I called First Alert and they were really good and replaced these detectors free of charge. Fast forward 3 years, and we have now replaced all 10 detectors due to "end of life". Unfortunately, all these chirps came in the middle of the night with kids and dogs living with us - not nice.

This smoke detector was picked and installed by our electrician contractor. Professionals, do not pick this product if you enjoy hassle free business and good relationship with your customers. I speak from experience, they will not be happy and ask that you exchange the defective models within a year.

They go off randomly to the point we had to call the fire department. 2 out of 3 are a total pain and the 1 isn't as bad but it still shouldn't be faulty. Apparently it's well known that there so bad. I feel for anyone who isn't able to check reviews and buys these. Remove this item. It sucks.

Now morning of day 2 another one is chirping. These are GARBAGE. Will be replacing all of them.
