I've even used this saw to cut custom chocks for aircraft using composite 2x4s and it cut perfectly. While the table size and features are lacking compared to more expensive table saws, this is perfect for me with my smaller shop and my beginner DIY skill level. I am able to accomplish everything I have wanted to thus far with ease. The one drawback is the OEM miter slot tabs that make purchasing or creating a nice table saw sled difficult. I really wish that this saw did have the standard miter track slots which would expand the ease of making new jigs/sleds.

Rated 5 de 5 de WillG par Great table saw at a reasonable price [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a table saw to make rip cuts for a hardwood flooring installation. I've been trying it by hand for a while but it's a lot of work and the cuts are less than perfect. This table saw is the perfect answer for light to medium duty projects. I now have to cut oak stair treads and the test cuts so far have been like a hot knife through butter. Sturdy table and stand. Great blade and quiet powerful motor. Comes mostly assembled except for the legs. I attached my shop vacuum to the exhaust on the back of the table and it's almost dust-free. All components are quality and for the price, this is a really good buy.

Rated 4 de 5 de max par Great saw bad instructions I’ve seen the saw before but now could not pass up the price. A past review posted that the instructions were bad. YES VERY BAD. My advise is give yourself time and be patient. The worst part is the assembly of the legs. The rest is fine. The saw is perfect for small projects. It takes up very little space. Portable? Yes. Light weight? Yes. Folds up quick? No. I plan to upgrade the stand to one with wheels. Accessories: Through away the miter jig. The safety stuff is fine. The fence actually works better then I expected. All in all a great saw for small projects.

Rated 2 de 5 de Zac par Craftsman poor workmanship Out of the box the riving knife is bent. Which catches the wood as you push through and is very dangerous. I contacted Craftsman cutomer service and they forward me to some 3rd party company and said they cant do anything and to return it to the store. so i return it and get another one. Out of the box, the angle lock lever is rigged incorrectly so when I lock the angle, the blade raising handle hits the lock and cant be raised. I also just bought a Craftsman 20" chainsaw and out of the box, the chain was installed backwards. Very upset with Craftsman's delivery of quality in there products. No more Craftsman products for me.

However, I purchased this saw as I am waiting on my new table saw to arrive and I used it for the first time today (11/7/20). I make pen blanks and sell them via the internet and I use a table saw a lot to cut acrylic pen blanks. I cut them to 7/8" square and as I was attempting to cut the blanks I realized the insert was flexing and the blank was getting wedged against the blade, very dangerous for kick back. Because of the insert flexing I found it difficult to get square cuts. Very disappointed in Craftsman's lack of quality on this saw.Er

Rated 5 de 5 de Robamus par Nice Saw - Heres how to Collect the Dust I collect Craftsman like a kid does Pokemon. But my OCD set me on a mission to get this dust collection mystery solved. Moistly old guys complaining online about cutting and modifying stuff. Heres how this works from my mission results; Buy the DeWalt DWV9000. Remove tip of small shop hose - the hard part you slip a crevice tool or brush onto. Mine yanked out or unscrewed (reverse thread) Reverse thread adaptor onto hose. Now it attaches to the DeWalt DWV9140, which you simply shove the large end into the saw. You're welcome.

Rated 1 de 5 de MrHal par Table saw is not good. Junk ! I bought this last week, setup was easy. BUT this is really a cheap saw. 1. The miter gauge is sloppy and the track will not accept my old craftsman miter tool. Plus it is not a standard slot. No use trying to make anything to use in this slot. 2. The nut that secured the blade on was so tight that I had to use a pipe over a wrench to get it loose to replace the 24 tooth blade with an 80 for finer cuts. 3. The power switch or start switch does not work right. Push the switch to start and nothing, push again and it might start. Pushed a 3rd time to get it to run. Switch is engaged but not running. After all of this, I boxed it back up and will return it tomorrow. Will spend the money for a better saw. H.W.S

Rated 1 de 5 de Anonyme par You actually get much less than you pay for. 1) Not portable - once legs are attached, they don't fold up. 2) Included accessories (fence, miter gauge, etc) are total junk - no accuracy or repeatability. 3) Tolerances are horrible - table slots are too big. Even my good accessories are sloppy on this table. 4) T-Slots are not T-Slots - they're just dado grooves that don't keep the tooling in place. 5) Anti-kickback accessory uses a tine, spring-loaded piece of plastic. It popped off while cutting. Nice!!
