Caractéristiques

Ce cadenas Magnum de forme ronde de marque Master Lock est doté d'un système de roulement à billes double ainsi que d'un cylindre à 4 goupilles offrant plus de résistance au crochetage. Son arceau de 5/8" est fait de carbure de bore ce qui le rend extrêmement résistant à la coupe et il est pratiquement entièrement dissimulé pour plus de sécurité. Le cadenas est fait d'acier inoxydable pour prévenir la rouille et son barillet de serrure est recouvert afin de protéger de la moisissure et de la saleté.

I went down to Lowe's and purchased a long aircraft grade security cable and looped through all four wheels. I secured the cables together using this MasterLock. A few day later the family arrived for Christmas and naturally I wanted to show off our brand new four wheeler. Stuck the key in the lock, snap! I couldn't believe how easy it broke! I have four MasterLock's that I use to secure all of our gates and storage shed and I have never had any issues. Maybe I just got a bad one. After I get my drill and bolt cutters out, I probably won't be buying this particular lock again!

Rated 1 de 5 de NVRV par Key broke inside lock - avoid the trouble ! This padlock is a real pain to unlock, which is why several reviews here state the key broke in the lock. Used this for my storage unit and luckily we returned to add a few things before leaving the state. The key broke and I was unable to get in to the unit, caused a whole day of trouble and unexpected expenses. Avoid this lock. After reading several negative reviews, I doubt it was just “a bad one” that I received. The lock was brand new and the key broke the first time I returned to open the storage, so it was not more than a week old.

Rated 1 de 5 de CSH par DO NOT BUY THIS LOCK!!! TOTAL GARBAGE! I purchased this lock on Sunday (11/27), placed on a storage unit that is in a climate controlled building. Went today to put additional items in storage and lock will not open. Tried both keys, still nothing, won't budge. It's been 3 days!! I had three other people try, they weren't able to open it either. I now have to figure out how to get the lock off my storage unit, and I can tell you when that happens it will be returned to Lowe's. Save yourself the aggravation, buy another brand.

There is no way that a pair of bolt cutters can cut this type of lock since there is no access to the shank. The last lock I had was cut off and was laying on the ground.

Rated 1 de 5 de John par Don't buy this. I bought this lock thinking it would be an upgrade from the same style of lock I have that is made by Kryptonite. Boy, was I wrong! This thing is a pain in the neck to unlock. I can see why the previous reviewer broke the key in the lock. This lock is nothing but trouble, folks, avoid it!

Rated 3 de 5 de DIYer par Review for Master Lock Magnum 2 3/4 Disk Lock Bought this lock couple of weeks ago. The lock is lightweight but it feels cheap and the inner workings are rough. To get the key out I do have to sometimes move it around. The rubber weather protection is great as it can protect a little from water and dirt. For the price and the brand, I believe Master could have made this product to work smoother. Other than that, It's a lock and as long as it deters thieves I am happy with that. I do however believe that you can probably get the same amount protection for a lower cost by going with a different brand.

Bought another lock at the local ACE hardware and returned this lock to Lowe's for a refund. Word of warning: if you buy this lock, make them try the keys before you go home!

Rated 5 de 5 de tyrantwing par small and tough I bought this lock because I wanted the small shackle lock to lock up my generator. Easy to open once you get the key all the way in. when you lock it there is a little click that tells you the lock is secure, and the key can be removed. Over all I like the lock, it works for what I bought it for.
