With this being wireless, set up was pretty easy. I have quite a big yard with no fence so having this camera provides peace of mind. The camera was picked up quickly on the app after downloading. The picture is clear both day and night and being able to record is a plus. The 2 way talk is an interesting feature, but so far have used it to talk to family like an intercom. I found that this worked well with a smart device. I recommend this camera as it has helped us feel a little safer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting a camera at the front door that had a clear picture in night and day time, this is it!! I hung it outside, so far no weather wear or tear. Easy to install outside or even in.. Comes with screws. The back of the camera has a magnet that is strong to hold the camera in place, but able to move angles. Microphone is loud and clear which is perfect! Set up with the app was easy to navigate and helpful. There is an option to turn notifications on and off. The camera itself is bulky and heavy in my opinion but it does the job.

It seemed simple enough and it was! I literally picked out the location to hang it and installed it. The only tool you need is a small Phillips head screwdriver! I would suggest before installing permanently to hold it in place and look at the app to see if that is the place you want to hang it. Make sure you get everything in the area you want to see! I captured the while area I needed to watch, including my porch and my driveway. The quality of the image you receive from this little camera is outstanding! It works fantastically and it was so easy to install! I love this camera!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a couple security cameras that never performed well, most of the time it was fuzzy lagging videos. I know Swann's offers full home security systems that are rated high, so when I received this compact security camera I knew it had to be a good one! Some features that I really like is that there's a 2-way talk feature so if there's an intruder you can hopefully scare them away, its very easy to set up, works with Hey Google or Alexa, and the video quality is crystal clear! For a compact size, I am very impressed with this security camera!

Rated 1 de 5 de Dever par Only works on Wi-Fi 2.4Ghz. No 5Ghz If your wireless is set to select 2.4 or 5Ghz automatically the camera will not connect to it. Poor mounting options for under eve mounting. I purchased the mounting base. The only threaded mounting is on the bottom which leaves the camera up side down. The software can flip the image but it’s slow. When I look at one of the recoded clip it displays up side down and when I flip my phone to see it right side up my phone flips it back to up side down. I wish Swann had put a threaded mount on the top also for proper under eve mounting. So far I’ve had a shadow at night making for a very poor picture. The daylight images are good.

My husband had no trouble mounting it and getting everything set up. Love that you are able to communicate through the camera! Also love that you are able to record right to the storage card. Over all it did exactly what we wanted it for as we have a inground pool in our yard and wanted that extra sense of security! We may eventually buy more cameras and add to it. I would absolutely purchase these again as they were super easy and the quality is great! And would definitely recommend to those looking for easy low maintenance cameras!

Rated 1 de 5 de UnhappySwann par Completely useless! Bought 2 cameras today. Wifi connection is terrible, even sitting next to the router. The motion detection doesn’t work. The cameras hardly connect to the app. You can’t hear the siren at all. Literally a complete waste of money - do not buy.

Rated 3 de 5 de TechGuy par Swan Xtreem Wireless Security Camera [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this camera as it fills a gap that my wired camera cannot fill. The batteries last a long time between charge and make it convenient for remote location installs. The video quality is very good, but this is where the good ends. Even with the camera located right next to the router, there is a 4 second lag between movement and the display on the phone app. When I get a notification of any movement, the app takes forever to load the live feed to be able to see what the motion is. By the time it loads, the movement is no longer there relegating you to have to view the recording. The delay makes the voice communication useless. When viewing the live view, there is a loud noise from the camera. I even put the camera in a quiet room, and could not have the volume on due to the loud noise coming from the camera. Overall, I am very disappointed with the camera. If they can resolve the lagginess and the sound issues, I would love the camera. In its current state, it is only useful for viewing things after the fact.
